Just a quick card of the day today.

The 5 of Wands from the Mythic Tarot by Liz Greene

The 5’s in all Tarot pips is a challenge number. It is half way from 1-10 and always indicates obstacles, tests, roadblocks, difficulties, struggles, feeling caught in a bind.

In the Thoth Tarot it has Saturn in Leo as the associated planet and Sign and it is the fist Decan of LEO from July 22-August 1st.

MEANING:

I have this Mythic Tarot deck: According to the book it shows the Greek Myth of Jason’s battle with the dragon which guards the golden fleece.  Jason fights the beast with two flaming wands and he is assisted by his lover and helper the sorceress Medea, daughter of the King of Colchis who has been in possession of the magical fleece. Three carries three flaming wands.

The five of wands shows the struggle against the lower reptilian Draconic instincts of the brain as well as in the culture and society. They are powerful and horde their treasure. They are like the Bildenbergs, the Federal Reserve, Putin or any powerful country corporation or head of state. Dragons refuse to change.  They horde the jewels which in natural law must be in circulation to encourage growth. The hero or heroine must use their instincts, and Leo like will power and courage as well as the powers of the High Priestess or Sourceress to assist in outwitting the dragons who refuse to grow.  Dragons symbolize fear.

The dragon represents the fear of change, the flat-earthers, the right wingers, the Tea-Partiers of the world, the Republicans, Donald Trump, the Patriarchy, the blind faithful religious followers, all religious groups who obey an outside authority of any type of  Church, based on antiquated ideas,  a Luddite, insular, racist, sexist, resistant to change person or group. We as the heroes and heroines must overcome these anti-life parts of ourselves and in the outside world.

We can all see how valid this particular card is in relationship to the world. Game of Thrones is partly so popular because of the magical appeal of dragons. If the dragon can be tamed rather than killed, its powers are really magnificent. Dragons lend us the ability to fly, breathe fire, they are the masters of many elements and worlds. They are ancient archetypes, dinosaurs, reptiles, they symbolize our own biological evolution of consciousness on the planet earth.

Orlando shooting, Omar Mateen Astrology

I am feeling sad about the largest mass shooting in America’s history on  June 12 at the Pulse gay bar in Orlando Florida where 50 people died and 53 were wounded.

I send many prayers and blessings to all of those who died so tragically and their families and friends.

The shooter, Omar Mateen, born November 16, 1986 in New York was an American born U.S. citizen of Afghani parents. He had been investigated twice by the FBI previously for possible terrorist ties but these were dismissed. Obviously the screening process needs to be much tighter and perhaps this horrific event and many people’s lives could have been saved.  

Omar actually called 911 during the shootout and said he pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and mentioned the Boston Bombers. He was armed with an assault-type rifle and a Glock handgun and he had been trained to use firearms as part of his Security Guard job for G4S since 2007. The perfect job right? He was killed in a shootout with at least 11 police officers inside the Pulse nightclub in Orlando after a 3 hour standoff.  His ex-wife who was married to him for a few months described him as undiagnosed bi-polar, physically abusive, used steroids and had anger issues. 

 Of course the ban guns cry immediately rang out. As well as the ban Muslims.

Of course Donald Trump-as I knew he would TWEETED. “”Appreciate the congrats for being right on radical Islamic terrorism, I don’t want congrats, I want toughness & vigilance. We must be smart!” 

The mix of the usual horrible cocktail of undiagnosed mental illness, plus radical islamic leanings with the ability to get guns legally is a lethal combination. Even parts of that equation are potentially lethal. 

I was reading through the FB posts, the back and forth about banning guns. Bernie Sanders speaking out about having gun legislation. Many people blaming the shooting on the shooter whose responsibility it is. But so is the system that allows these type of semi-automatic weapons to be so easily available. Having very detailed background checks is obviously the simplest level of screening. That’s not to say that a determined person can’t get guns illegal either.

In light of the astrology, I did mention in my June forecast that this is a dangerous time, with violence highly likely as the degrees of the 911 tragedy were being reactivated now from the planets Saturn, Jupiter and the Sun Venus conjunction triggering where Pluto was at 911 in Sagittarius {where Saturn is now} and Saturn was in Gemini opposite Pluto then, where the Sun and Venus are now. Plus the Grand Mutable cross, Mars Retrograde in Scorpio and the Uranus Eris conjunction in Aries!!!  

Saturn Retrograde in Sagittarius is showing us a very sobering, heavy reality that we have to examine. This is the REALITY check, it ain’t a show, a video game or a blockbuster movie. Sagittarius rules foreigners, religion -such as every Patriarchal religion; radical Muslim, Bible belters, Orthodox Jews or Mormons, they all have the same propaganda mentality. It is painful to be so blinded by outside authority when it is so obviously nothing to do with spirituality at all. It is a sheer control mechanism. 

With Neptune in PISCES many New Age believers say the 5th dimension- a new world of love and compassion is being created.  Which is great. Jupiter in Virgo is opposing that now with a much more realistic vibe which says take care of your local community, your health, the food you eat, what the end result of what you planted 12 years ago is now and where it will be 12, 24, 36, 72, 144 years from now. The Native Indigenous peoples say we need to be accountable for the next 7 generations.

I have included the Asteroids named ISIS, the asteroid Dionysus who is a LGBT icon, and the asteroid Tisiphone one of the Furies of Greek Myth, she is the Revenge Queen. 

I am using a midnight birth time as there is so far no correct time. The chart shows a Scorpio Sun,an obsessive controlling, attracted to revenge and  power person who would be able to be a spy or surreptitious.  The Moon is in Taurus opposite his Sun. This further increases the fixed, stubborn, strong-willed nature of this man. The Sun and Moon are in a T-Square to MARS in AQUARIUS and ISIS indicating that he was an angry outsider, a detached, cool-headed organizer with a natural inclination to radicalism in any form. 

He had 5 “planets” in Scorpio, with both Mercury and VENUS Retrograde. This is a very strong anti-social,narcissistic, dark, psychopathic signature. His  thinking and values are different. He was an unbounded, rule breaker and many criminals have these planets O.O.B. 

With Saturn in Sagittarius squaring Jupiter in PISCES he was a religious man, a dreamer, an adventurer, an idealist, someone who could easily get lost in drugs, addictions, fantasy and illusion.  Dionysus is opposite his Jupiter in Pisces, he may have been a closet homosexual or bi-sexual who hated gays because his Muslim religion denounces them as sinful. 

AFTER NOTE: It is revealed that Omar was actually gay or bi-sexual and had frequented Pulse for three years. The ISIS connection is a false flag which I felt it was  intuitively. The right wing is using this as an excuse to back Donald Trump.  Read the article below. 

He had Chiron at 20 degrees GEMINI indicating a bi-polar nature and opposite to Uranus in Sagittarius he was an impulsive headstrong rebel with or without a cause. The Goddess of Revenge, Tisiphone is conjunct to his Gemini which is a hermaphrodite sign.

June 12, Orlando Florida. Could the planets predict this mass shooting? 

Omar was still experiencing his 1st SATURN RETURN, a difficult testing time of needing to grow up. Retrograde MARS was exactly on his Scorpio SUN making a lot of repressed rage become uncontrollable. Mars is squaring his Natal MARS in AQUARIUS. This is about as heavy, dangerous and trigger happy for someone who is pissed off, and already emotionally messed up as it gets. Saturn and MARS are the great Malefics. It would have been unbearable for Omar that he could not control others’ behaviours which he found objectionable. 

URANUS and ERIS the God and Goddess of chaos and DISCORD, REVENGE and STRIFE are conjunct to his NORTH NODE in ARIES, which is a martial, impulsive, angry destiny point. Uranus/Eris are sextiling his Natal Mars in Aquarius exactly at 23 degrees and sextiling his natal Chiron in Gemini. This makes it easy for all those energies to work “well” together for a terrible fate. Uranus and ERIS are inconjunct to his Natal 23 degree Scorpio Sun exactly to put more pressure on him.  He was terribly agitated, hyped up, restless, hair trigger. It’s indeed as if Omar had totally downloaded and was embodying the Lord of Strife and Chaos. I wonder if he was a video game addict? TUranus rules these games which were explicitly designed to train men to be detached enough to cooly kill anyone in cold blood. 

The GRAND MUTABLE Cross was pinning him to the wall, he had delusions about wanting to be an Islamic martyr for “the cause.”Transiting Neptune conjunct to his Natal Jupiter in Pisces and squaring his Natal Saturn with Jupiter in Virgo and the NORTH NODE opposite with the Sun and Venus on his Natal Chiron in Gemini showing him in a split-personality state.

Omar definitely had all the potential seeds in place to commit a henous crime like this from his birth. But not everyone born on the same day will be. Each person has their own individual karma and state of evolution of their soul in regards to the position of the planets and each one of us has free will and each choice made along the way in our lives creates our karma.  

I wish the government would use Astrologers as part of their screening. A group of astrologers could assess any person very quickly and easily rate them. 

 I will pull a card asking for clarity and hope.

Dream big, mutable roller coaster weekend

The weekend is a big busy mutable weekend as the Moon in Virgo activates the Mutable T-square, which may make you feel like you are on an emotional roller-coaster, which will test you about your faith and your deepest dreamy wild truths, and if you know which way is up or not and  tests your hardest self-knowledge about What is real, and what is too hard to imagine?

As the Moon opposite Neptune early in the a.m. I’m feeling high as a kite.
then the Moon Squares Saturn one hour later, the crash. Who put lead in my shoes and why am i so down and blue?
then 41/2 hours later Moon conjuncts Optimistic expansive trusting Jupiter. Wow I am feeling so UP!
Then the Moon conjunct North Node , 4 hours later; a karmic new cycle begins at 16 degrees.

The North Node and the Moon point to where we need to point our ship, what we nail to set sail after. Virgo North Node is about paying attention to the details. The crafting the hands on, DIY, perfecting something, it doesn’t have to be big, it can be small and prescious.

I used to be a craftsperson in my former incarnation in this lifetime. My ex and I made everything  by hand, these were  little tiny clay like pins. Our line was mainly cats and we sold these across Canada and the U.S. in Art Gallery Gift Shops and retail stores and at Major Toronto and California Craft Shows. Each one was meticulously hand-made, sanded, painted, sealed in minute details. I have a VIRGO South NODE.

The chart for that moment shows a Very powerful YOD or what’s known as a Finger of God, Yes, like God’s finger pointing to MARS, Retrograde in SCORPIO sign of sex, money power and secrets, meaning this is what we need to pay attention to.

The Goddess Venus/Inanna the Great Queen is still in her dark phase behind the SUN and she is preparing for her rebirth as an evening star and will be visible from behind the Sun in early August as the beautiful evening Wishing Star again.

While Mars Retrograde in Scorpio is at the Apex of this Finger wagging Yod we see again the full extent of the secret cabals of power.  The judge who gave the lenient sentence to Brock now has half a million signatures calling for his resignation. 

The battle between the sexes is getting stronger. Many new masculine men know their place to honor the feminine and to re-educate overly testosterone driven men into honoring the Goddess to earn her love. Fathers must also teach their sons to respect women. The whole culture needs to change. That is what URANUS and ERIS. are bringing. Red,White and Blue Moon May 22.

MARS, the red planet

   

will be opposite the Sun and be closest to the earth on MAY 22  

on a Blue Moon

• During the Mars opposition, the red planet will be brightly visible from dusk to dawn 
• Eight days later, Mars will be closest it’s been to Earth in more than decade
• Blue Moon will be on Saturday night, followed by Mars opposition Sunday
• A Blue Moon is not actually blue, but is third full moon of four in a season

The opposition of Mars will take place on May 22 and will bring the red planet within roughly 47 million miles (75.6 million km) of Earth. This means that it will align with the sun in a way that places Earth directly in between the two objects. Opposition is pictured above, image not to scale.

In effect the earth is eclipsing Mars from a Heliocentric perspective. For APOLLO’S  perspective the earth is swallowing Mars the warrior planet. This is a very powerful image of the FEMININE EARTH MOTHER assimilating the warrior God. The old boys macho warrior energy is dying. Donald Trump is a last hurrah throwback. 

SATURN Retrograde is aligned with ANTARES the Rival of Mars in an isociles triangle. Saturn is death, maturity, karma. This is a very poignant death of the warrior macho god image as well.

Starting Sunday night, viewers will be able to see the brightly lit Mars from dusk until dawn.

It will shine 7 times brighter than Saturn, and some 17 times more brilliantly than the red star Antares.

And, red planet will remain exceptionally bright during the weeks to follow.

Once it reaches opposition, it will have quadrupled in brightness just since the start of April, according to EARTHSKY

And, it will be 80 times brighter than it is at its faintest point.

The Opposition occurs roughly every 26 months, but this year’s event is particularly remarkable.

The opposition of Mars will take place on May 22 and will bring the red planet within roughly 47 million miles (75.6 million km) of Earth, NASA explains.

Mars will reach its highest point in the night sky at midnight, around 35 degrees above the southern horizon.The planet will continue to appear brighter and larger in the sky until June 3.

MARS in the Tarot is the symbol of the TOWER Trump # 16 

This is  a huge WAKE UP call. The Tower is a very powerful archetype, destructive, shakes things up, tears things down. America learned the lesson of the destruction of the Tower on 9/11. This is another variation on the energies of the archetype which can take many forms.
