MARS in PISCES is the spiritual Warrior and the water protectors at the #NoDAPL who brings light and love into the battle.

Our intuition, telepathy, and sensitivity to others’ feelings will be really heightened as well as our LUCID DREAMING abilities because Mars activates Pisces’ watery soulful depths.

Mars- the action planet, is the God of WAR, in Pisces is a powerful NEPTUNE and Jupiter ruled buccaneer/pirate sailing Pisces oceanic world.

PISCES is Bliss and confusion, enlightenment or illusion, addictions and denial.

You will feel all fogged up and sloshed. Especially Aries’ and SCORPIO’s who are ruled by planet Mars and usually get right down to it.

PISCES can be whiny, poor me, self- fuck ups, martyrs.  The Democrats may be going through a lot of this right now. See it for what it is- and let it go.

Mars in Pisces rules martyrs. Like the Hanged Man in the Tarot #12.  Sit and think about where you have allowed yourself to be a victim/ martyr in your life. Write down the situations and with whom. Trace back why you have surrendered to giving up your self to others who abuse you. Forgiveness comes later.

It’s like that river in Egypt. denial. Mars in Pisces is escapism. Do you pretend the problem isn’t there?  Look at your excuses. What are you hiding from? What are you afraid of? The cure is in the denied emotions.

What false prophets do you worship? Movie stars? Porn? The almighty dollar? Status? Love?  Look at why you think you need these things and why you feel inadequate without them.  What pain, or inner black hole are you attempting to escape from? This is a great time to go to rehab and deal with your own demons.

Mars in Pisces is Tantric sexuality. Be God. Be the Goddess. Create, make love. This is sacred sexuality. Women teach men how to worship the Goddess.

9. CHARITY

Give of yourself to someone more needy. Help out at a food bank. Donate money. Be kind and generous. Give away what you don’t need. Be good to yourself without ego. 

10. WATER

Pisces rules the Oceans which are polluted. Be conscious that your body is 70% water. Dr. Emoto wrote about the power of positive emotions to change water. Get involved to protect water rights.  Stop using bottled plastic water. Help save ocean species. Do prayers for the water.  Please pray for the Water protectors now.

So take a long hard look at your debts. To many Gen X’ers having a Mortgage think it is not a debt but an asset. It’s a debt. The bank owns your house until you pay it off in its entirety.

This week marks the 50th anniversary of the first exact Uranus Pluto conjunction and the Chiron Return of this definitive time. This is a time for the torch that was lit in the 60’s to be passed to those born during this time to act on those seeded impulses..

We are experiencing the Chiron Return of the beginning of the 60’s Revolution. This is a time to look back at where these times were birthed. The ideal of the 60’s.

See how the planets are aligned again to vibrate off the original signature chord struck then;

Jupiter at 11 degrees Virgo is exactly opposite to where Saturn was and close to where Uranus and Pluto were. Expanding into a higher octave of learning.

Transiting Neptune at 7 degrees of Pisces in 2015 is squaring the South Node at 5 degrees Sagittarius and the North Node at 5 degrees Gemini. Where have we ended up since then?

Saturn now at 1 degree Sagittarius is conjunct to Venus at zero Sag. and Mars at 3 of Sag. and the South Node and Saturn is also inconjunct to 1965’s Jupiter at 1 degree Cancer. This is a karmic result of the Values, economics, of women, {VENUS} the drives, protests, wars {Mars}  and educational philosophical teachings that we have left behind Soth Node in Sagittarius. Saturn opposing the North Node in Gemini is the communications and over-heady place we are at now.. 

Transitting Uranus at 18 degrees Aries is opposed to 1965 Sun in Libra at 16 degrees. How much of a revolution did we have? What really changed? Do we have the peace and equal relationships we hoped we did?

Pluto in Capricorn is also square to the Sun in 1965. The corporate reality vs. The Ideology.

Clearly what has been triggered then is being revisited now. 

Those born in the mid- 60’s will now have to act on the cosmic plan which was seeded then with their own consciousness to be their guide. 

MARS Neptune opposition ritual

For a ritual i would want to find the middle ground between the uber harsh reality and the false addictive escapist fantasy. 

At 7 degrees Sagittarius/ Gemini is the middle ground Conjunct to Archangel Ariel. Fixed Star Antares.

This is a good energy to break addictions with. Mars in Virgo gives strength of mind and determination over the body. 

Mars in Virgo takes account of your denial, what you have been avoiding and procrastinating about.

Neptune in Pisces with Mars can bring back a very practical faith, a spiritual discipline. 

Health issues need to be considered from the mind/body/spiritual/emotional split. Western medicine is all head and science. Eastern Medicine sees spiritual and emotional causes. There are karmic reasons for disease as well.

What makes Iggy Pop? stars Astrology

Happy Birthday to IGGY POP April 21 he is 68 years old. The acknowledged Grandfather of  punk, the outrageous unpredictable usually shirtless Iggy led the way for many others to follow. Often imitated there is only one IGGY, never mind Iggy Azalea. 

Born James Newell Osterberg Jr. his parents were entirely supportive of him as a young teen. He started out as a drummer with a blues band called The Prime Movers where he got his stage name Iggy. Co-bandmate Michael Erlewine is a prolific genius who created  Matrix Astrology Software the first computerized astrology software in the world in 1977.

They played louder and harder than anyone else and no one wanted to sign them. Kick out the Jams was their first live album.  Iggy became known for his notoriously wild stage act- he originated stage diving. He was inspired by Jim Morrison of the Doors stage presence.

Iggy  wore a maternity dress, white face and aluminum Afro wig for the very first Stooges concert. They were signed by Elektra Records in 1968. Iggy had a worsening heroin addiction at this time. In 1971 he met David Bowie at Max’s Kansas City in New York and Bowie produced Raw Power in 1973. In 1976 Bowie took Iggy along on his Station to Station Tour. 

In 1977 both Bowie and Iggy relocated to West Berlin to kick their drug addictions. Bowie helped him write and produce The Idiot and Lust for Life. They co-wrote China Girl, Tonight and Sister Midnight which Bowie covered himself later.

In 1980 Iggy published an autobiography called I Need More with a forward by Andy Warhol who had  met Iggy when he was still Jim at the Ann Arbor Film Festival in 1966. “I don’t know why he hasn’t made it really big,” wrote the one Pop artist about the other. “He is so good.”

In 1983 Bowie recorded China Girl which helped Iggy’s fortunes as he received royalties. With this support he took three years off to finally overcome his heroin addiction. Then he became a shaman, once he was the wounded healer.

In 1984 he did the title song to the film Repo Man. In 1985 one of his biggest hits Lust For Life was in the popular movie Desperately Seeking Susan with Madonna. He contributed his voice along with Lou Reed in 1985 for an animated film. In 1987 Iggy sung on a ground breaking super artsy video by Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto which won MTV video awards-see below.

Iggy has recorded 16 solo albums to date and still continues to perform live and record. He appeared as a character in the video game Lego Rock Band singing The Passenger and his voice is the tutor. Pop also acts and has appeared in 16 movies including one of my favorites, Jim Jarmusch’s 1995 Dead Man with Johnny Depp and Robert Mitchum with an incredible sound track by Neil Young. 

On April 7, 2011, at age 63, Pop performed “Real Wild Child” on the 10th season of American Idol. The L.A. Times music blog described Pop as being “still magnetic, still disturbing. ” after all these years. 

Lets check out Iggy’ s chart for all of those elements.

From Iggy’s life description you might expect some intense Scorpio, Aries, Leo, Pisces.

Iggy is a solid, earthy, sensuous, body conscious Venusian double Taurus with the Sun and Moon in the 10th house of fame- his parents support of his creativity is in this aspect.

The luninaries are squaring SATURN IN LEO on his 29th degree Cancer Ascendant and also square his Pluto in Leo in the 1st.  Iggy is so very emotional, sensitive and Feminine and Saturn and Pluto give Iggy presence, over the top entertaining mannerism and staying power. JUPITER is in SCORPIO in the 5th house of creativity, performers, love affairs and again that hunger for living larger than life and death, rebirth. Jupiter is in a out of sign Trine with Saturn in Leo. This is a lucky saving angel on Iggy’s shoulders.

I feel he had success before. It’s all about the Beck, why he won

If you were watching The Grammy Awards Feb 8 with millions of viewers, you, me and everyone in the audience’s jaws dropped as Beck was awarded Album of the Year for “Morning Phase” and Best Rock Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. Everyone expected Beyonce or Taylor Swift  or Sam Smith to win. Kanye pranked Beck by jumping on stage pretending to protest the win like he did infamously with Taylor Swift. That look on Jay-Z’s face was priceless.

For those under 18, Beck Hansen has written and performed his eclectic blend of music since the early 90’s. He has had been awarded 5 Grammy’s from 16 nominations. He comes from an eclectic family, his Mother was an Andy Warhol superstar and his grandfather one of the Fluxus art movement founders. He was raised in Scientology which he still practices and also identifies as Jewish.You can check out more details about Beck’s life in Wikipedia. 

Let’s check out Beck’s chart as I just wanted to point out why,beside his awesome talent and dedication he won this Surprise Grammy award now.

Beck is a Cancer born July 8 1970 in Los Angeles at 11:59 pm. He is a triple Cancer with Mercury and Mars conjunct to the Sun in the 4th house which the Moon rules. He is a very shy private person, very sensitive, emotional, tender. He is a nurturing man, and probably has sensitive tummy issues. 

Where is his Moon which rules his Cancerian identity, communications and drives?

His Moon is in Virgo in the natural 6th house conjunct PLUTO. The plot thickens. Beck is an obsessive perfectionist who pays attention to the details. A workaholic, who may be OCD, who hones every note. His religion is work and dedication to getting the perfect product out.

Beck is having the URANUS- SURPRISE! transit to his Sun with Pluto opposite his Cancer Sun- big power and corporate recognition. Neptune has also been transiting his North Node in 2014 when the album came out. He is creatively and spiritually at a peak now.

Saturn in Sagittarius is also Squaring his North Node. This is karmic reward time for his hard work and the maturation {Saturn} is his creative inspiration.

Saturn has also just crossed his Neptune in November 2014. His Neptune in his 8th house is rewards from other people. Saturn conjunct Neptune is physical, reality, rewards for working on your creativity and dreams. Saturn will backtrack in the summer and conjunct his Neptune again in the summer of 2015.

I had an amazing dream year ago. PISCES is all about THE DREAM

This LUCID dream occurred in the early 90’s.

In it I went to visit my first cousin Carol Karasik, she is a writer who used to live in Washington D.C. I was walking through the street and went to her house, it was full of beautiful old antiques. This was a dream house, not her actual one. I walked through the house, but she wasn’t there. I sat down in front of a TV set and turned it on. It is very rare to be watching TV in dreams because it is another level of visioning, at least for me. I was watching a show on MTV and it showed Bette Midler wearing black, singing and dancing.

In the next scene Andy Warhol is lying on a bed, sort of catatonic. Bette gets into bed with him and makes love to him and they exchange sexes. She becomes Andy and Andy becomes her. Then Andy/Bette  gets up and walks out through a wall.

The 3rd scene in the play is Bette Midler wearing a black tux, top hat and tails like in the old 1930’s movie musicals. She has a chorus of women also  dressed in  black behind and around her. It is a courtroom with a judge on a stand and a jury.  Bette Midler sings and then says “I stand before you to plead my case” .. There is  a pause, it seems the jury has to decide her fate.

The next scene is Bette Midler dressed in white smiling and beaming saying I WIN! Trumpets sound and  everyone is dancing around. And then the narrator appears and says Bette Midler don’t you just love her?” It was a LUCID dream and I felt elated. I’d passed my own judgement day and won.

I wish for YOU to feel the same elation.

AND all this PISCES energy will ebb and flow away momentarily, later that same day!
