Mars rides the bull. Mutual reception with Venus

Mars leaves his home sign of ARIES and moves into Taurus on the 9th creating a mutual reception with Venus- this means that they are hosting each other when they are in each others signs while Venus is in Aries moving Retrograde until April 2.  

This is very beneficial.  

Any two planets in each others’s signs favor each other. The masculine becomes more feminine and the feminine more masculine. This is the exact energy symbolized in TAROT Card #14 TEMPERANCE. In the deck that I primarily use its called ALCHEMY or ART.  I know the card has the Zodiac symbol for Sagittarius. This is the sign attributed to this card. I am focussing more on the overall energy of the card as tempering the two opposites. This is a wonderful energy to have guiding us now as the energies of the masculine and feminine have become so polarized. The combining and exchanging of elements allows us to be empathetic and more understanding of how “the other” feels, thinks and acts.

With information from another great astrologer Sky Priestess Bairavee Balasubramaniam who points out that Sedna and Hekate conjunct the Moon, here’s my take on this.

Goddess dwarf-planet SEDNA and Asteroid HEKATE conjunct the MOON

Sedna is the Inuit Goddess of the seas and all life in them. The Oceans symbolize the vast unconscious that we all have. The Unconscious is the watery emotional underworld of dreams, the shadows and the riches that live there.  We all have dreams of being  in the ocean, it is archetypally where life originally formed on planet earth. Therefore symbols of the ocean are extremely archaic, and are held in our DNA. Do you remember when you were a whale, dolphin,a sponge or plankton? We are a compendium of everything that has ever existed and the history of every life form that will exist. Sedna tale is rather tragic as all great myths are. The tragedies are necessary parts of the transformative process. Do not run away from the pain, the suffering, the sadness, rage, and anger. These are the keys to the soul-making process. 

Sedna  was thrown overboard from a kayak by her father into the icy waters. She clung onto the boat but her cruel father cut her fingers off and threw them also into the sea. Sedna surrenders to and accepts her fate in spite of being totally betrayed by the Patriarchy. She surrendered to her own spirit her own Feminine values of inclusive, wholeness, unconditional love. She does not fall into the trap of duality, or victim- abuser mentality. She lets go and allows and accepts and does not fight. This is not the same as being a martyr in the Christian myths. Because she held no revenge or anger towards her father but allowed the transformative process Sedna was transformed into the Protectress of the Ocean. Her fingers became whales and dolphins and all the marine animals that exist. This story is very relevant for what is going on with Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their cruel misogyny towards women. I have an issue with this myself. I understand it psychologically that what is being described is the process itself, it is not personal. We need to let go of the duality concept as it is all part of the big picture but since i have 4 planets in Libra, the other side of the myth is what is trying to be passed off as brainwashing here as well. It is telling women to allow men to torture and abuse you because then you will get the pie in the sky rewards. I am working on this. 

HEKATE is also involved as Goddess of the CROSSROADS,

the goddess of trivia, meaning three choices and this is my exact point here. There is another way. She is the CRONE Goddess the one who presides over crossroads, death, wisdom, magic. She is a sourceress, one who works from the SOURCE. Hekate can see all options and all directions, past present and future. This is the balanced or middle path. The Chrone is the wisest of all Goddesses. She is menopausal and carries her wise blood within here. She is the one consulted before wars can take place. Call upon Hekate the Goddess of shamanic magic at this Full Moon and on Sedna too.

Call upon Hekate, Sedna , Black Moon Lilith the dark, dark black, “negrido” this is part of the alchemical process too.  Call upon the Dark Goddesses who govern the very bright WHITE moon. The dark and the Light at inseparable parts of the other.  Be careful land conscious this is not about Black Magic at all. Only do WHITE MAGIC. 

The times are intense and heavy, the birth process is accelerating.

The Election in the U.S. of course; some stubborn International treaty or project being hampered by laws. Taurus SUN is stubborn and so is Saturn who digs his heels in trying to elevate things. 

It is literally the warning sign in the stock markets for a Bull market stopping.

A good remedy is exercise, eating well and keeping your hide out of trouble.

Be careful of people being irritable, easily annoyed and obstinate.

The Sun is LIGHT and Life PLUTO is the DARK and DEATH. The Taurus Sun wants to revel in our earthly Garden of Eden, and revel we should. Pluto the Lord of Death, shows us that we must be aware of our shadows and our fears at every moment so that we can have more power by living and grounding our Souls to the earth. I read something by musician Elijah Ray on FB where he talked about always feeling alienated and wishing he could go home to his cosmic origins. Then realized he needed to bring “home” here to earth, that was why he embodied. I thought that was a beautiful story which really touched me deeply.

A friend died suddenly a few days ago and that is always a shock, another reminder of how we never know, moment to moment if we will be here or transcend and go elsewhere, leaving everything we had learned established and embodied behind in an instant. RIP Steve. 

This aspect is very empowering. Bring your earthly gifts to bare against the shadow of death, which is not to be feared. It is merely another dimension of life.

Post Blood Moon Report by Tara Greene

 I have learned to just trust and be in the flow and go with what feels right. I had been invited to take part in a ceremony with a group at Angel Fire Retreat Center about 5 miles outside of Sedona but it didn’t feel right. Then I was invited in the afternoon to be part of a ceremony with a friend of mine and two of her friends to watch the Blood Moon and do ceremony way out past Boynton Canyon, where the beautiful Enchantment Resort is. We drove down a really rutted dirt road you have to have a 4 x 4 to do this, ending up in a gorgeous site with no one around us.

We arrived at one of the most beautiful sites I have ever been in. There was a “Parthenon” of Goddesses almost Babylonian on one rock face. Another had a huge guardian who seemed Egyptian in front of it. The women named one rock the Big Nipple and there were two of them, spread apart so it was a naturally very Goddess site. The site had expansive 360 degree views and we could see Jerome, a very funky town about 25 miles away high up a mountain, twinkling away when it got dark. Sedona is a total paradise.

Ceremonial objects for Blood Moon eclipse 

We did a very simple ceremony. We had all brought offerings objects and things to contribute. We a marked the 4 directions exactly with a compass.  We called in the Central Sun of Alcyone. I said my prayers and called in those people who had requested it, even if I hadn’t heard from then but knew they would want to be there. There was one of us for each direction.

Alchemy of turning white into red

The moon rose already half eclipsed from our vantage point. There was a large mountain blocking her earth rise, see photo above. Then she s-l-o-w-l-y turned red and stayed that way for what seemed like hours and hours. Time slowed down so much. Which is something we need more of.

We felt so tired and peaceful watching the Moon. It felt like the Moon had bewitched us and if felt like her presence was so strong. I felt the Moon connected to the Super Galactic Center M-87. She felt so nurturing. She spoke to me about my mission.  We sat on our chairs and just felt totally celestial. It was such a moon bath. I got some very interesting insights about what happens energetically during a lunar eclipse through the literal symbols. I felt the energy shifts so strongly in that Vortex we were in. Nature speaks directly when you are in a pure setting makes all the difference. There was absolute silence at certain  times except for the cicadas. 

The lights would shift in the sky  into bright blue or purple would come in. We saw flashes of lightning.  It felt totally different. It was far more mellow, comforting, soothing, nurturing in True Moon fashion, in spite of what sign she was in. I was feeling totally unconditionally loved.

The Moon symbolizes the unconscious of each individual as well as the collective and the Mother principle and our own mothers, and all women. The earth’s shadow falling on the Moon and eclipsing it symbolizes all of the shadowy unconscious parts of ourselves that we project onto women were absorbed onto the moon. All the shadows of women and of men and all fear and negativity were projected onto the moon and bled out. The Moon Mother bled for our shadows, for our unconsciousness. And in her darkness she spoke to those who had eyes to see and ears to hear and hearts that were open. The Moon absorbed all those shadows and cleansed them when she returned to Her Light again. In alchemy the white becomes red and the red becomes white. It was much like a mass Baptism.  It was definitely a cleansing of a lot of old baggage. It felt beautiful.

yes and we are all still here. 

Clouds obscured the Moon for awhile and it got very dark out. Bats were flying around, and we heard an owl hooting, and there were lots of mosquitos.

The Milky Way was fully arched across the sky during the eclipse at its darkest. It felt like being in a star bowl. The Big Dipper was setting and it was so huge, it took up about 20% of the sky. We saw UFO type of lights many times. I rattled my dried squash rattle and the cicadas rattled back. I did a chant to call in the Star Beings, then those weird light in the sky appeared. I am awed at how magnificent the downloads were. But I have to go dream on them. Monday is my last full day in Sedona for now.So I have a lot to pack in.

Monday:Moon is in ARIES and forms a square to Pluto in early morning. Some very deep issues were activated during the eclipse. You may be feeling the harder side of that energy on Monday.

Later in the day Moon conjuncts Uranus for unpredictable impulsive outburts.

“As above, so below” news, Dragons and Dreams

Yes Mercury is in GEMINI its own sign and slowing down to go Retrograde  May 18 on a New Moon. Here’s the “As above, so below” News. 

Mercury the planet is literally Mercury the toxic alchemical metal. On May 11 @ 3:17 pm in Simi Valley close to Los Angeles, HAZMAT firefighters were called  because of a Mercury spill at this location. Several people were evacuated from their homes! Here’s the Astrology chart of the event.

Mercury is in Gemini at 11+ degrees, widely opposed to Saturn in Sagittarius which is Retrograde. Mercury is squaring Neptune in Pisces  indicates that perhaps someone was spaced out, high, emotionally out of it and not paying attention who caused the spill. Apparently the Mercury spill was caused by some electrical equipment. That is Uranus which is sextiling Mercury as is Jupiter in Leo which also indicates excess, drama. Mercury also squares the vertex a karmic intake point. 

These degrees are opposite to where Pluto was 12 degrees on 9/11. Saturn was at 14 degrees of Gemini at the World Trade Centre take down. Mercury rules the Mid-Heaven or world fame point. This is conjunct to the North Star.  

Sometimes you need to take the poison to get the immunity. You know what I mean?

Children and adults get Mercury poisoning in their systems all the time in vaccinations. Nobody thinks this is a toxic danger. I wonder why?

MOON WISE

The Moon is in Pisces so we are sweetly dreaming, row, row, rowing gently down the stream of consciousness.

May 13 the Moon makes 2 sweet sextiles to Pluto and the Taurus SUN and a Picasso painting {art} sold for a record amount {Pluto= wealth from the dead}. Picasso was a Scorpio with 4 planets + Chiron in Taurus.

Inbetwixt that the PIsces Moon kisses Chiron-

it’s like having the Great Mother Goddess kiss your boo-boos.

Speaking of the Great Mother, I attended a powerful Women’s Priestess initiation which I can’t really talk about on Mother’s Day. I was reunited me with an old teacher I hadn’t seen in about 22 years. I was asked which Goddesses I was called to serve. One was ISIS, the Great Ancient Egyptian great Goddess, one was the Hindu Goddess Mahalakshmi, Goddess of wealth, beauty and the arts and the Chinese Goddess Quan Yin of great Compassion.

WHITE DRAGON DREAM

Then last night I had this dream. I am at a modern concrete building. It is a spiritual retreat. There are attendants dressed like Sufi’s in all white with turbans. I go outside and there is a beautiful blue sky and sunshine. I look up and I see a huge white dragon. I am stunned. The dragon looks at me and dives right down towards me. I rush straight forwards across this field to meet the dragon, I know it will not harm me. The dragon flies lower and straight towards me and implodes as it goes right through me. I am invested with the White Dragon’s energy. I look up and I see it now looks like a balloon, or a huge puppet it’s form is deflated. I understand it is formless as I have been given the white dragons powers. I haven’t even watched Game of Thrones yet! Then there is a huge cleansing downpour.

But then I remembered that Quan Yin rides a dragon.
