New Year’s Astrology Bliss,The Magician

What’s the New Year’s energy look like? What do the planets have in store? We are still at the tail end of the Capricorn New Moon’s energies which last for three days. A very slight waxing crescent Moon may be visible in the sky on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s day depending on where you are in the world. A nice symbol to have a brand new moon in a brand new Year.

The Moon is in airy AQUARIUS which indicates what the mood in the world will feel like. The moon governs the people’s mood, as well as women, especially mothers, and the feminine intuitive energies. The mood is cool, modern, detached, full of social media, we are seeking innovation, revolutionary change, fresh ideas, and the sense that we are all one, on the same level playing field.

This is a super romantic idealistic, merging of souls energy. This can feel very blissful. There is a longing to feel merged a soul mate, a guru, the ocean of Bliss, being at one with the cosmos in the universe. This energy enhances all psychic, telepathic energy. Don’t be freaked out if you feel the invisible walls of separation part like the red sea. This would be a wonderful meditative spiritual energy to ride into the New Year. Instead of partying and carrying on the best thing would be to meditate with friends or alone or online under an Aquarius Moon. 

This is a powerful energy for visualization, imagining what you want your 2017 to be like. This energy is also good for all creative forms of expression and it would be beneficial to do this on New Year’s day as well. 

2+0+1+7 = 1. We are starting a brand new 9-year cycle. 2016 was a #9 cycle The Hermit, it was a year of completion. I believe that is why so many famous people passed on in 2016. It would be good to finish up all of your 2016 issues and projects, but if you didn’t its OK as the Mercury Retrograde is in effect until Jan. 8 Use that first week of 2017 to really clean up all the old, that is what I will be doing.

Gemini Full wild unknown Super Moon

This is a complex Super Moon. It is the last of three and the last Full Moon of 2016. At 22+ degrees Gemini, the moon is opposite and connected with the fiery optimistic, Sagittarius SUN. The Sagittarius Sun brings truth, justice, optimism, passion, adventure, and we bring these qualities with us to this Full Moon. The SAGE SUN is very Sage right now as it is conjunct to serious, karmic planet of maturity and limitations, SATURN. The Sun-Saturn combo are insisting that Gemini’s, especially a certain one who was recently elected to be the next President of the United States, get serious and take the consequences. 

Donald Trump’s SUN is exactly opposite this Full Moon and the Moon is exactly conjunct his natal Moon. Donald was born on a Total Lunar Eclipse at 23+ degrees Sagittarius so this Full Moon has come full circle for him and Saturn is asking that he grows up and acts his age. This is a sobering wake up to all Gemini’s.

The Wild Unknown Tarot

This may be a time of great vulnerability for Trump and for all of us as Chiron the WOUNDED HEALER squares the Sun and Moon. Chiron brings out our vulnerabilities. This is where we may erroneously create the biggest defenses, bandages, denial, escapism, distraction and addictions to cover the hurt contained in these collective wounds. The covering of the wound with drugs will never heal it but only allows the wounds to grow bigger. We must look at our collective Oneness in order to heal. 

Gemini is a sign of duality and everything contains its opposite in order to be balanced and whole. Gemini is the Yin/Yang sign of the Zodiac, much like the sign of Libra. All the Air signs contain this element of duality. 

Gemini is governed by planet MERCURY which is right now OUT OF BOUNDS, it is in its wild phase and it is slowing down to turn Retrograde for the 4th time this year on December 19th.  This brings a very UNKNOWN quality to what is being completed now. All of this group is creating a YOD or finger of GOD to LILITH in SCORPIO where she is very strong as she governs SCORPIO, of sex, death, rebirth, power and control, secrets and ruthlessness.

So a certain Gemini will be feeling the scrutiny of some karmic wild crazy unknown LILITH as Destroyer energy by women collectively for being rejected for asking for equality.  I say YAY to that. LILITH is like KALI and Hell hath no fury like a powerful woman who is rejected because of conceit, arrogance, and hubris, not to mention narcissism.

MERCURY in CAPRICORN is being sextiled by the planet of illusions, delusions, scams, oil, false promises, addictions, martyrs and spirituality, NEPTUNE in PISCES which makes it even harder to fathom WTF is going on. JUPITER in LIBRA is trining the GEMINI Moon and MARS conjunct ATHENA in AQUARIUS at 25+ 26 degrees respectively. Trines are beneficial but you must be very careful as Jupiter exacerbates the flip-floppiness and being too superficial. Mars in Aquarius is very revolutionary and goes against traditions and Gemini is also famous for being two faced. These degrees are also opposite to Mr. Trump’s Natal Mars at 26 degrees of LEO.  He may be all puffed up and hopping mad. Look for news of Greece having another major financial or cultural break down soon. 

VENUS in AQUARIUS at 7 degrees is inconjunct the NORTH NODE in VIRGO at 7 degrees. Women are in revolt mode to being put back into the servant of men roles. Venus and North Node are inconjunct to Trump’s natal MERCURY at 8 degrees of  CANCER making it a finger of God to women. There will be a WOMEN”S MARCH on WASHINGTON the day after Trump’s inauguration where they will give him the finger.

There are doubts that he will even be inaugurated as the Electoral College has to decide this on December 19 whether to actually allow Trump to take office. MERCURY turns Retrograde from a conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn squaring Jupiter in Libra and opposing Uranus in ARIES. Which is all about….

Can you spell Revolution? Recount? Rescind? Rejection?

Remember the wild unknown yawns before all of us now not just in the U.S. This is the liminal time, a time of fog, of unexpected chaos, nothing solid to hold onto, a time of division, blaming others, acting childish, and immature under this Full Moon.

Winter Solstice occurs on December 21st with a Retrograde Mercury @ 5:44 am EST in Washington D.C.  I will write separately about that.

At the last Full Moon, it’s a good time to look back on 2016. It has been a difficult strained, and fractious year with BREXIT and a total upheaval from the U.S. election. It has been a sad year as many great musicians and celebrities who passed away. David Bowie, Prince, Leonard Cohen, John Glenn, Greg Lake, Janet Reno, Alan Rickman, Harper Lee, Gato Barbieri, and many others. 

Spend time at the Full Moon reflecting on what has been completed in your life. We are also completing a 9-year cycle, so bring whatever you need to a close. 

There will be a CAPRICORN NEW Moon December 28 and 2017 begins with a Retrograde Mercury.  Stay optimistic, these are Mutable times. Stay Mercurial. We are also entering a #1 year in 2017 which is the Magician.

How to put up Psychic shields

While the Moon is still in Pisces, December 7th in PST.,EST. and GMT we are more sensitive, empathic, emotional and moody. Pisces is the sign of psychic energy,  dreams, the hidden, unseen, spirits, the unconscious, the imagination.

The Moon makes some very hard squares to the SUN and SATURN today. So make sure your protective shields and psychic boundaries are up all day and every day.

NOTE: the Moon then goes Void of course at 6:05 am PST/ 9:05 am EST/ 2:05 pm GMT until the 8th at 2:15 am PST/ 3:15 am EST/ 8:15 am GMT.  That’s almost 20 hours of a lull, a twilight reflective period. Take advantage of it. 

We are a  week away from the next Super MOON in GEMINI on the 13/14th

Pisces Moon squares the Sun in the wee hours in the above time zones tonight and four hours later the Moon squares SATURN, this will all happen before most of us go to work in the morning. The energy will be in effect until the morning of the 8th. Pay attention to your dreams as they can be great opportunities for very lucid dreaming. 

Make sure your protective psychic shields and boundaries are up. Just like in the old Star Trek shows. “Shields up” says Captian Kirk instructs his crew and Dr. Sulu. 

Don’t know how to do put up your psychic shields?

It’s really very simple.

1. Draw an imaginary circle around your bed where you sleep at night or anywhere you are. Start out straight ahead of you and always move in a clockwise direction. You can spread out your arms out to your sides to feel the boundaries of your protective circle as well. This helps to strengthen it and is a good thing to do when you are alone and when you are first starting to practice this defensive action.
2. Imagine this circle with your mind in white or ultraviolet light. You can also physically do this by using your index finger as a magic wand and draw out the boundaries of safety around you. If you have a pointed clear quartz crystal or amethyst or other type of crystal wand I would hold that in your hand and use it as your magic wand. This will increase the power of your intention as crystals hold energy. It isn’t necessary though.
3. You can call in Archangel Michael the Watcher of the East who has a fiery sword of protection. Just say ” I call upon the Archangel Michael into my circle to help protect me. 
4.  State out loud. “I create this powerful shield and circle of Light to protect me from all entities, energies, and spirits with any negative intent.  This is a banishing. 
5.  The invocation and intention.  “I allow only positive, loving, supportive, emotions and people inside my boundaries. So mote it be.”
6. It is very simple. You must emotionally feel the shield being created. Try doing it with your eyes closed at first. Call it up on command. You must remember to set up your shields constantly when around dangerous people, situations, and around psychic vampires, which are actually everywhere.  
7. Try this out and experience it for yourself and see if this makes a huge difference in how you feel spiritually and emotionally. It should make you feel clearer, stronger, more stable and lighter. Listen to the angels sending you signs and talking to  you as well. 
8. The Moon also inconjuncts positive Jupiter in LIBRA in A.M.
9. You may have to hug your inner child and keep her or him very safe. Be the loving parent to your inner child. Be careful of getting drawn into backhanded compliments, or social scenes that don’t feel right. Trust your intuition. 
10. VENUS ENTERS AQUARIUS @ 6:51 am PST/ 9:51 am EST/2:51 pm GMT

1. This will shift the energy quite a bit and we should be able to feel more detached, more logical, scientific and cool.  I will write more on Venus in Aquarius where we let our freak flags fly. 
3. The Pisces Moon conjuncts Chiron in the afternoon for EST and GMT 
4. There may be major disappointments in the news especially at STANDING ROCK where the EPT has gone ahead and is continuing to drill in spite of what President Obama said and the Army Corps of Engineers. The situation on native land to protect the waters may get very dire again. There was a day of grace. 
5. Keep practicing with your psychic shields as many times a day as you need. See how much better you will feel. It isn’t that you aren’t aware of what’s going on around you. It’s also that the volume of the negativity decreases. This helps you from getting sucked into other people’s emotional dramas and traumas. I’ve practiced this for years. As a very empathic natural psychic,I sometimes feel overwhelmed with the emotions of the world. I have to have my shields up all the time.
