right after I wrote this my Internet went down, and my landline phone here in Sedona too. I had to call the internet provider and because it is Mercury Mars Saturn Jupiter etc Retrograde I went out and walked to the office which is only 10 minutes away to make sure they got the message.  This is not what I had expected. I really did have to BE HERE and nowhere else because I was cut off from communicating with the world. It’s great to be here.  It is real this magic.

Serious Retrogrades,slow culture Astrology

I don’t  know about you but Mars Retrograde has me feeling really exhausted. On top of Mercury in its shadow, Saturn Jupiter and Pluto are also Retro. Are you feeling tired? It’ts more to do with where MARS is Retrograding through your natal chart and the aspects its making.

The best thing to do is slow down and just chill. We spend too much time racing around anyways these days. Time some time to value SLOW CULTURE, cooking, slow handed love.

LILITH, opposite SUN, Priapus, sex, Mars Retrograde

Have you been feeling more intensely sexual lately?

This may be because of Lilith, both Mean and True, Dark Goddesses of women’s independence and sexuality are both within one degree at 25-26 degrees LIBRA. 

THE SUN is at 25-26 degrees ARIES opposite to LILITH. The LIGHT And DARK Forces are both with us. This is good, it helps bring balance to an erotically charged time. As the Sun is also conjunct to PRIAPUS, the ancient God of very erotic sexual love. Priapus is a point of perigee in the moon’s orbit and he is always Lilith’s opposite side or shadow. Lilith is defined as the Moon’s apogee, the most distant point on its elliptical orbit of the Earth, and Priapus is astronomically opposite – the perigee or closest point to the Earth.

Lilith’s energy is primarily sexual. The Ancient Goddesses took many lovers as that was her prerogative.  We now know that it’s also a biological necessity. There were those who stayed in pairs for life before the Patriarchy institution of marriage.  Women are multi-orgasmic unlike men. The Patriarchal religion threw Lilith out symbolically and made her into a demon or vampire as a psychological metaphor because they were using sexuality as a means to control women and men. This came from a deep-seated felt powerlessness and inferiority complex from men compared to women and the Great Mother.  This explains Lillith’s place as the projection of men’s own fears of their own, virility and self-worth projected negatively onto the Feminine. PRIAPUS , was an ancient male phallic God of virility and fertility who was also protector of gardens, vineyards and orchards. Priapus’ parents were Dionysus, God of sex , wine and intoxication and Aphrodite/Venus Goddess of love. Nice family.

His enormous genitals ensured good luck and fortune and he was a patron to all who were in need of luck, especially men and women searching for sexual satisfaction or fuck luck- sorry I couldn’t resist. Yet he was rejected by women because his penis was too huge. Size matters negatively as well. He also is associated somewhat with homosexuality. He is LILITH’S literal shadow. It brings the potential of healing the split in the “marriage basket.” 

Priapus can bring out a healthy enjoyment of both parties sexuality through a positive male expression when in balance and harmony by honoring Lilith by fulfilling her sexual expression first. As MARS, the planet of Sex, energy and drive is slowing down to turn RETROGRADE April 17 at 8+ degrees SAGITTARIUS  – June 29 where it stops at 23 degrees SCORPIO on the heels of this powerful opposition it bodes well for a change in the sexual weather, for a change in our most intimate relationships and positions. It means reversing, revealing, renewing, reviewing, re-doing, rewriting sexual politics.

See this MARS Retrograde as a sexual initiation. I was taught about indigenous Native American societies which were similar to  Polynesian and Aboriginal societies where sex is totally natural, with no taboos, inhibitions or shame. Once tribal members reached puberty they would be taken to a “Fire Man” or “Fire woman” who had a very respected place in the society whose job it was to teach the young person about their own sexuality, and how to please the other, so that they would have experience knowledge and respect for the other sex, and this was done over time.  Use this Mars Retrograde to go back to the beginning as if you were a scared horny virgin teen and have beginners mind about sex.

I am sorry I am late with this. I have been feeling quite exhausted and redoing my website is a major pain in the ass. I am also getting ready to go to Sedona Arizona again for a month-long writing sabbatical. I have to get my book into finished shape.

MARS- will be in REACTION MODE from April 17  until June 29th where MARS will take us down into HADES SCORPIO, deep soul scraping territory to fix a lot of old soul issues. I can feel this.  It will take until AUGUST 22nd for MARS to get back to the 8+ degree of SAGITTARIUS the degree it went Retro at. 

That is a very long for us to REFLECT. Remember -it’s all about all those Re things. RE-ACTING is a huge one and in Shamanic warrior training or in Buddhism if you are reacting you are caught in a karmic/emotional  web. This is a great  time to do recapitulation techniques. I will be happy to assist you in that.

What is RECAPITULATION? 

It is a breathing technique to remember past forgotten memories  which hold you back in the present as they haven’t been resolved. This technique was given to me from the lineage from which Carlos Castenada wrote about with Don Juan. Whether you believe that Don Juan was  real character or not the techniques and journeys that Carlos describes are real shamanic one.

Mars Retrograde is more so as repressed anger is more difficult But also the potential to work through a lot of deep deep millenial past lives anger.

REMEMBER MARS will re-enter SCORPIO on May 27- June 29th a 2 month re-immersion into all things deep dark and soulful, shadowy, power trips, secrets and control.

At the same time CHIRON in Pisces will be Trining MARS, 

I am seeing CHIRON as more of the SHAMANIC healer which still uses and implies the wounded healer  who is a shapeshifter especially with horse medicine. All shamans were traditionally initiated by being very sick and having NDE’s which is part of their initiation. By referring to Chiron as the shamanic healer it brings more positive healing energy into the definition. One os not defined by their wound but by their ability to heal that wound. You would definitely want to look at where your native Shamanic healer is in your natal chart and how Mars will be affecting you more personally. My shamanic healer is in early Capricorn close to my Mercury in Sagittarius on the Galactic Center in my  2nd house of assets and resources.

FUTURE DATE OF NOTE: AUGUST 24 SCARLET LETTER DAY 

SATURN, lord of KARMA also in SAGITTARIUS for a long stay will CONJUNCT MARS AUGUST 24 @ 9+ degrees of SAGITTARIUS. That is  a SCARLET LETTER DAY. The two malefics of the Zodiac meet conjunct FIXED STAR ANTARES- rival of MARS. This STAR is in Constellation SCORPIO and is conjunct to Fixed Star Uriel. 

Moon trines Sun on Monday evening for a fiery energized evening.

Yes its the 50th Super Bowl Sunday in the Golden Gate City.  

My predictions: It will be a brutal fight to the death as the Sun squares the warrior planet MARS in his strength in his home sign of SCORPIO. 

SYNCHRONICITY: As above so below:

Just added to the lineup at Halftime : Bruno MARS of course.

BEYONCE- as planet Venus and COLDPLAY will be performing.

Venus will be sextiling Mars from Capricorn at 10 degrees  to Mars 15th- the most powerful degrees.

More women will be watching the Super Bowl this year or at least half-time.

I am not a sports fan at all so I will venture my prediction based on Astrology and intuition.

The Denver Broncos were born August 14, 1959,  a LEO Sun sign

Their Natal JUPITER at 20 degrees ARIES is conjunct transitting Uranus- this gives them lots of energy and out of the box analysis, doing the unexpected throwing in a little chaos could help them to win.

 

Natal SATURN is at 23 degrees SAGITTARIUS with Jupiter also squaring that- thats oomph.. 

THE DENVER BRONCO’S  

The Bronc’s have a 20 degree Leo SUN . A Fire Moon in early Sagittarius, They have Mercury Retrograde at 7 Leo,  They have Venus RETROGRADE at 15 Virgo conjunct Mars at 15 Virgo,  Jupiter is at 23 Scorpio,and  Saturn is Retrograde at zero degrees Capricorn, the world point.

TRANSITING Neptune is at 8 degrees Pisces opposite their VENUS Mars conjunction which is mainly being Squared by Saturn.  Their could be delusions of grandeur and DRUG taking involved. Something fishy perhaps?  Jupiter is in a wide conjunction to Venus and Mars. 

I am picking the Panthers to win as they have so many planets aligned from their natal chart and the days transits.
