Charlie Watts, RIP, The famous Back beat for The Rolling Stones, the Greatest Rock and Roll band of all time passed away in a London Hospital at 80 from an undisclosed illness with his family by his side. Charlie was the handsome, stone-faced, rock steady drummer of the Greatest Rock and Roll band for 58 years, joining in 1963.

Elegantly dressed in Saville Row suits and married to the same woman since 1965, Watts  is survived by his wife Shirley Shepherd, a daughter, Seraphina, a sister, and a granddaughter.

Amidst the raucuous Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, he was the coolest of dudes, holding down the Rolling Stones Juggernaut. Like the quiet Beatle, Charlie’s drumming was the beat behind Jagger’s swagger and Keith’s pirate blue’s playing, he was a gentleman in a sea of rogues. He has a very few demons of his own.

Charlie Robert Watts, was a triple GEMINI with Sun at 11 degrees, JUPITER at 1, and VENUS at 23 degrees. He apparently was the epitome of neatness.

Apparently he had some surgery and was recovering. Paul McCartney mentioned he knew that Charlie had been ill. Uranus is an unexpected death.
