Marvin Gaye, the great American soul singer was born April 2, 1939 11:58 am in Washington Heights, District of Columbia. He died April 1, 1984,

He was an Aries Sun conjunct Mercury Retrograde conjunct Saturn in his 10th house of Worldly Success and Fame.  He has a lot of passion drive and energy. His Father and him had some pretty serious karma which proved to be fatal in his short life.

This is very creative energy, very sexual and can indicate a lust for extremely independent women but also love addictions and fear of powerful women.

Tragically his father shot him April 1st the day before his birthday in 1984. Gaye was shot twice following an altercation with his father after he intervened in an argument between his parents. Ironically Gaye Jr. gave the gun to his father as a Christmas present years before to protect himself with. It was a very tragic situation.
