Dear Tara, I came across something I had never heard of before, talking about planets going retrograde. When calculating charts, what is the general meaning of the Galactic Center being retrograde? I know perhaps the question is off, in relationship to this post, but I did research and could not come across any information. Have you ever this one in your readings?

The Galactic Center going Retrograde???? The Galactic Centre is the point around which our whole galaxy, The Milky Way turns.Discovered in Feb 1974, fittingly with the North Node at 27° Sagittarius and Saturn at the South Node at 27 degrees GEMINI conjunct to the North or Pole Star. The Galactic centre moves like a fixed star at the rate of precession through the zodiac at 1° every 72 years, forward in the tropical zodiac(as the Aries point moves backward) and is currently at 26°59′ Sagittarius. The expert on this would be Philip Sedgewick who has mainly compiled all of the Galactic information about Black holes and quasars the Great Attractor and the Super Galactic Center. The Galactic Center the giant black hole at the center of our Milky Way Galaxy 23-30 thousand light years away. Maybe you are thinking about the precession of the Equinoxes? The constellations/signs move backwards which you might say is Retrograde but it is never referred to that way. Evert 2160 years the Sun moves against a constellation. We are currently in the Age of Pisces which is ending as we are in the year 2018. But no one really know exactly when this era began. The C.E. Christian Era is an arbitrary starting point.blessings TARA

Thank you for clarifying this Tara. Well, I saw days ago by adding Galactic Center in a chart and it shows up as “G.C. r” lol. So my thoughts in this case is that it is interpreted in a very different direction, I have the idea in my mind but I just do not know how to put it in words. Like how someone once told me that many retrogrades in a chart can point out to being very slow paced as to work out several lifetimes in one lifetime, so I would think that an “r” there would mean something even more potent, like working out a general Cosmic topic in one lifetime connected to all lifetimes. But, I am sure you and others might know a lot better. 🙂

The Galactic Center Retrograde? I’m not sure what that means. Many Retrogrades in a person’s natal chart indicates a lot of old karmic lessons that need to be finished.
