Mars rides the bull. Mutual reception with Venus

Mars leaves his home sign of ARIES and moves into Taurus on the 9th creating a mutual reception with Venus- this means that they are hosting each other when they are in each others signs while Venus is in Aries moving Retrograde until April 2.  

This is very beneficial.  

Any two planets in each others’s signs favor each other. The masculine becomes more feminine and the feminine more masculine. This is the exact energy symbolized in TAROT Card #14 TEMPERANCE. I am focussing more on the overall energy of the card as tempering the two opposites. This is a wonderful energy to have guiding us now as the energies of the masculine and feminine have become so polarized. The combining and exchanging of elements allows us to be empathetic and more understanding of how “the other” feels, thinks and acts.

Mars indicates drive and energy. As the planet of macho, wherever Mars is that’s the testosterone temperature. Mars in Taurus is stubborn, determined and strongest when resisting something or attacking. Ask any bullfighter about that. But Mars riding the bull can also be passive and lazy. It is always sensuality which comes first.

Mars in Taurus is in for the long haul. It is steady plodding and focussed on stability at all costs. Things will get done easier through going slowly.
