August Astrology Preview

The 8th month is a time of transitions and completion of karmic cycles. Number 8 is the symbol of Karma and Infinity which means that all time is NOW. It is a lucky number, symbolizing all the directions in Chinese Feng Shui.

Jupiter in Virgo is closing out his year-long stay in the 6th sign of perfection, work, grassroots, and health issues on September 9 so finish up projects now. There are some major planetary aspects this month.

AUG. 2, Mars  re-enters Sagittarius on a New Moon in LEO shifting us into more optimistic territory since May 27.

AUG. 13, SATURN turns Direct, since Retrograding since March 25.

AUG. 18, FULL MOON in AQUARIUSWith a big T-square between North Node Venus Mercury and Jupiter opposed to Neptune South Node and Chiron all squared by Mars and SATurn in Sagittarius.

AUG. 24, MARS conjuncts SATURN in SAGITTARIUS, a very heavy difficult day.

AUG. 25/26, MARS squares NEPTUNE, a good day to launch a dream. AUG. 27, one of the best days of year,Venus conjuncts JUPITER in VIRGO.

MERCURY turns RETROGRADE on August 30 in Virgo. Will be a tough one, prepare early.

Aug 24 MARS CONJUNCTS SATURN in SAG. @ 9+ degrees on ANTARES

This is a very difficult combination. The two “true malefic’s” conjoined on Antares-the rival of Mars spells Terrorist attacks of the worst type or going to War. This is  a real challenge and difficult for people with planets at 9 degrees Mutable, Gemini, Virgo Sagittarius and Pisces. Check out where these degrees fall in your natal chart. My Sun and Moon are 3 degrees either side of this aspect.

A day of feeling vulnerable in the physical and spiritually. Vulnerability is a great strength.

Expect many breakups as Uranus in Aries is impulsive rash and the urge for freedom is strong.

This one will be tough as Mercury is in its own sign. Mercury turns Direct September 22 @ 14 degrees Virgo. Prepare early to make sure you don’t have to buy new tech. Back up all computers etc. 

AUG. 29, VENUS enters LIBRA her home sign.

September 1st is a SOLAR ECLIPSE at 9 degrees VIRGO.
