Virgo Full Moon March 8 onwards,How’s your gut instincts? Mercury Retrograde and more Astrology by Tara Greene
Virgo a very large constellation. she rules the harvest,service to others, discipline, intelligence.
That beautiful Virgo Full Moon’s light is still streaming into my south-facing office window now. VIRGO a large constellation of the Virgin Goddess, which falls on International Women’s day this year, rules work, service to others, health, discipline, perfectionism, worrying, workaholics, control freaks in general, servants traditionally, pets,the harvest, and the upper intestinal tract.
In short Mars Retrograding through Virgo has been of late, wreaking havoc with my upper intestinal tract, So I have had some difficulties with this,and not keeping up with all this writing I intended to do. The upper intestine is associated with visions, being psychic.
How’s your guts feeling? A full moon in Virgo with Mars retrograde there conjunct the Moon will accentuate any unresolved emotional issues residing in your gut.
Mars Retrograde is conjunct the Moon at 18 degrees of Virgo and opposite the Sun in Pisces and Chiron nearby at 6 degrees of Pisces. Old anger issues, wounds and sensitivities will be stirred up leading up to and after this Full Moon. You’ll feel it palpably, I assure you. Spring is not so far away, 2 weeks from now you can get ready to do a big spring cleanse soon. Worrying, a Virgo necessity is something to watch carefully now.
Saturn Retrograde at 28 degrees Libra is opposite VENUS at 3 degrees of Taurus who is sitting nearby Big Uncle Jupiter at 8 degrees of Taurus. Do be carefull about overindulging on rich foods especially with the Virgo upper gut stuff being overly sensitive. Venus and Jupiter love to eat a lot of rich sensual, foods in Taurus. Jupiter in Taurus promotes weight gain easily as well, so don’t be surprised if a few pounds sneak up on you just like that. Pluto at 9 degrees of Capricorn is squaring Jupiter now, indicating large corporate reward taking now in the markets and conversely big companies scaling down from overly zealous expansions, trying to be more practical.
MERCURY RETROGRADE ALERT MARCH 12- APRIL 4
Mercury has just passed Uranus in Aries March 5 and is heading to square Pluto. Mercury will join Uranus in Retrograde again March and April 22nd and it will stay within 10 degrees of squaring Pluto { the soul, the shadow} from March 3-23 and April 17- May 2. Exact on April 25. Mercury will also be in PISCES from Feb 13 to March 2 and from March 23 to April 16 bringing intuition into our mental outlook for quite a long time. This is good.
URANUS PLUTO SQUARES the BIG aspects of 2012
Seven, count ‘em exact passes between these 2 giants in terms of cultural influence not size, begins on June 24 2012 and ends March 16, 2015.
The last time these 2 transpersonal planets aspected each other they were conjunct in Virgo in the 60′s. Mars retrograde is going over their previous territories now almost as a rolling out of the red carpet trip down memory lane deja vu before the new landscape is born. Opposite Saturn in the 60′s these two planets, I know I still call Pluto a planet, they created the 60′s revolution.
Now they are beginning to hatch what was seeded 42 years ago, of course it is the midlife crises times for everyone born then. Uranus in early Aries and Pluto in Capricorn symbolize big new Aries angry, flash mob, occupy, new life, revolution. “We ARE the revolution.” Squares are frictitious, like rubbing two sticks together.
Pluto in Capricorn continues to tear down old monopolies, corporate structures, the Euro, the Greek, Portuguese, Spanish, Irish, etc economies.
By the same token Pluto in Capricorn also indicates, power and control issues from Plutocrats, Plutocracies who wish to gain total control of the world economies, and religions, dictators Assad, North Korea, Iran etc. and the like who resist the change and hang onto old outworn ideologies, religious fanaticism, patriotism, government interventions, old school mentality. Pluto rules over death and decay, garbage, sewage, recycling. Dictators are being toppled, the people continue to rise up against such tyranny and even though they are being mercilessly slaughtered, young boys in Syria, the people of Iran, they will not be entirely stopped yet. Hussein,Gaddafi and all those former dictators who are now gone, fallen, are the beginning, we are just getting rolling revolutionary wise. When the Uranus Pluto squares hit exactly then the fires will really start to burn.
PLuto Square Uranus will also see all refuse and garbage being seen as a valuable resource and reused garbage as fuel in all areas will elliminate the need for burning fossil fuels, oil, natural gas, etc. Nicolas Tesla, who was strangled and buried by Edison, General electric,the US government for his radical, revolutionary, free electricity, should stage a healthy comeback.
Aries is the I am principle, Uranus is US. It’s the I is US thinking times.
Mars will continue to Retrograde in Virgo till April 13.
Review your health, diet, work routine. Mercury, the ruling planet of Virgo will be Retrograde in Aries back into Pisces from March 12- April 4th. During that 3 week period especially, review any new directions taken. Go back into using your intuition rather than rashly jumping into new things without thinking about whether they are right for you. Dream on things.. Review your work goals, your scheduling. Are you overly busy? A workaholic? You may take a revolutionary{ Aries} new look at why you are working so hard and for what?

Thousands of people have reported seeing 11:11 and other multiples of the same number regularly since digital clocks made this aparent. Everything is symbolic, life speaks to us as images, that is the Soul’s language. Dreams speak in images, and all of life is a dream from the soul’ s perspective. Have I lost a few of you already?

This Sat March 3 is the next in another higher frequency integration. I feel that this next one will happen on 3 12 12 which feels more integrated, the 3rd is an appetiser. More on that later.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is going to Ottawa, Canada‘s capital on March 2 and 3rd before going to meet President Obama in Washington. Canada’s Prime Minster Stephen Harper has pitched Canada’s support for Israel, so this is clearly a push for Canada to help Israel protect itself from the continued strengthening of Iran’s nuclear program. Harper is a very conservative leader, and it seems he has bee, to my mind an obvious patsy of the U.S. {ever since Prime Minster Mulroney} sending thousands of Canadian troops to fight on the front lines in Afghanistan when Canada was always a peace keeping and not a front line defense since World War II which has resulted in Canada’s reputation as a peacekeeping nation falling off that role in the world’s eyes. With Mars Retrograde at 13 degrees of Virgo opposed to the Sun at 13 degree of Pisces BOTH square the U.S. Natal Uranus at 8 degrees of Gemini and the U.S. natal Mars at 21 degrees of Gemini. I see this as unusual, unexpected rash words, sucker punches,ego posturing {the sun} and calling out, but still a war of words as it is ambivalent energy as Mars isnt going to act YET. The Pisces Sun is usually very compassionate and Mars in Virgo is slow to nit pick but will still insist on perfecting and tallying up all the reasons why it should act hawkish and not dovelike.
Israel has its natal Mercury, how it communicates, at 10 degrees of Gemini so the Mars/ Sun opposition activates its mouthpiece and thinking through Mr. Netanyahu, all talk, smokescreens and shadows at this point. Mars will go direct April 13, then the situation will begin to BURN.
CANADA
has its North Node, its highest spiritual Goal at 17 degrees of Virgo which Mars has just passed, its South Node, symbolizing its past, is at 17 degrees of Pisces near to where the Sun is and will be on March 7th . Canada also has its natal Uranus {individuality, technology, freedom} at 8 degrees of Cancer right opposite where Pluto is right now. This signifies a huge unexpected revolutionary change in how Canada wields its Power. Pluto rules the shadow, where we blame THEM “ the other” for what we ourselves are doing but hiding from, in denial of and won’t accept. Pluto is all things nuclear, power, weapons, generators. Pluto is death and destruction.
Canada’s Jupiter, its’ bigness, compassion,optimism,risk-taking and expansiveness is at 7 degrees of Pisces. Chiron, the wounded healer {symbol looks like a Key} is sitting pretty close to that. Will Canada finally feel confident enough, because it’s always felt insecure, to come out of the Pisces backrooms to loom large on the world’s stage?
Canada’s Mars is at 5 degrees of Virgo directly opposite Chiron so definitely feeling insecure in spite of its great showing economically these days that point makes it defensive in extreme and so just like a bee when threatened it will sting in defense but lose its life in order to do that. Jupiter in Pisces opposite Mars in Virgo with this image reminds me of Muhammed Ali’s famous line that he “Floats like a butterfly but stings like a bee.”
In terms of negotiations, peacekeeping, relationships and talks, Canada has Venus at 15 degrees of Gemini, so they can talk till the cows come home, but won’t take sides. They can be great peacekeepers and ambassadors. Mars/Sun Xactly squares Canada’s Venus too. So there may be economic pressures and hidden agendas and incentives for Canada to stir the pot.
Interestingly enough Canada’s Venus is exactly at the degree where Venus will eclipse the Sun June 5-6. The Venus in Gemini X spot indicates that Canada will play a significant and major role in negotiating this situation.
My. Netanyahu will then speak with President Obama about what to do with Iran, Obama definitely has his hands full these days. He is going through his Saturn square Saturn, and his role in history is pivotal. His karma is beying writ large now. I am on his side.
Interestingly enough Mars turned Retrograde at 23 degrees of Virgo in January. Obama’s Natal Mars is at 22 degrees of Virgo exactly conjunct the U.S. birth charts Natal Neptune. Neptune rules oil remember. So we are going over the territory again and its all about fighting for oil.
The Moon on this day at 15 degrees of Cancer is conjunct the U.S. Sun at 13 degrees of Cancer. It symbolizes a New Moon cycle for the U.S. The Moon represents the people’s moods and they need emotional securityand protection for their homes and native land. But most importantly the Moon in Cancer is all about WOMEN and their rights to shine and be the source. Women’s issues need to be re-assessed in light of the ultra conservative GOP stuff being shot off in the Republican party presidential election. Women will rise up and oppose this ultra conservative birth control issue and backlash/whiplash the GOP in the election.
Pluto at 9 degrees of Capricorn is beginning to oppose the U.S. Sun. The Big Bang is on its way. Pluto, the force {with Saturn} behind 911 as they were in opposition is once again being felt throughout the land. This is the Plutocracy {the ultra-rich and powerful} attempting to defeat the U.S. democracy, its light, what it stands for and the destruction of big bisuness. Capitalism on the way out. Fascism in danger of taking over out of fear and wanting total control. Pluto and Uranus begin their series of 7 squares this year. Pluto and Uranus when last conjunct in late 60′ss seeded the Flower Power movement, the summer of LOVE, a cultural revolution. Now those seeds will begin to Grow. The revolutionary energy that began in Egypt, Tuniasia, Libya, is ongoing in Syria, snuffed out in Iran is not going away anytime soon. The OCCUPY WALL STREET movement { a Canadian invention from Ad Busters} is also just the tip of the iceburg. A groundswell of revolutionary ch- ch- ch- change is upon us with a force with technology behind it infintely greater than what happened in the 60′s. This time it will be economic,about individuals, fierce, warlike. But such is the nature of the world and its cycles.

Saturn is the cosmic cop and we have enjoyed him being rather gentle and trying to bring balance into our lives since late 2009 so this is the last of it for the next 28-29 years to be exact. Saturn has inlate 2011 and will again in April and again in September move into an exacty Square the U.S. Natal Capricorn at 27 degrees { Retrograde} when the country was founded. This is a karmic axis if there ever was one. President Obama has his natal Saturn at 25 degrees retrograde when he was born so his fate as well is in the hands of Father Time, the karmic cop. “As you sow so shall you reap.” is Saturn’s slogan. The Star Bird has been prophesied by various cultures, the Hopi, Mayan and others. The Star Bird as a dove is similar to the dove always depicted with the Archangel Gabriel symbolizing the Holy Spirit. All Renaissance paintings of the Annunciation show the Holy Dove descending from heaven on a ray of golden or white light. In total humility I mention this as l came across the references and realized the similarity. I was not raised Christian so the symbol of the Holy spirit was not familiar to me. The Star Bird is real, I personally witnessed and experienced this Star Bird with two other people on Feb. 22 1979 in Isla Mujeres Mexico. I have been told by my guides and other shamans that its origins are from the star Sirius. Many channelers have their sources from the Star Sirius. Sirius is also associated with the Hopi Prophesies it is also the Blue Star Kachina i have just found out.

The original 11:11 was brought into consciousness by Solara who created a world-wide meditation on Jan 11 1992. I participated in that I was in Jupiter Florida with a friend of mine and we meditated at 11:11 am and 11:00 pm in our local time zone. It was very powerful. So it’s all symbolically inter-connected in puns as it were. The Universe speaks to us in puns as it does in dreams.
22 is a higher octave of 11. # 22 is the symbol of enlightenment. In the Tarot symbols equals ZERO, NULL, the circle, eternity, never ending nor beginning. In other words God/dess. The number 22 in the Tarot is symbolized by the FOOL. Don’t laugh the Fool is the symbol of enlightenment. It is the Soul itself as an eternal round, a never-ending journey.
In the Thoth Tarot which I use, the being THOTH the great magician and teacher revered by the Egyptians is also equated with the STAR SiRIUS, and the symbol of the Fool has the Holy dove encircling his heart.
And of course literally the Star is the Tarot trump of the Star #17 which is Aquarius energy, When You wish upon a Star. The # 17 Trump is also part of the tarot constellation which reduces to #8 Karma, MA’at the egyptian Goddess of Karmic justice.
So on Feb 22 I feel that this should be a constant ongoing energy meditation. So rather than focus on a specific time of day, I am suggesting that wherever you are in the world, if you wake up early in the am on Wed. Feb 22 then meditate on the Star Bird. Whenever you can 2:22 pm is a suggested time as well as any mutiple numbers 3:33, 4:44, 5:55 or 10:10 or 11:11 at night.
Stretch, take some deep but natural breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth. Let go of all concerns in your mind. You are going to go on a sacred journey, to meet a very wise ancient, immortal wisdom guide. Close your eyes. Create and visualize a circle of white light around you in which you are totally safe, protected. If you aren’t visual then command it to be so with your will.
Imagine that up from the earth, through the soles of your feet, comes tingly bubbles like those cleansers you see on TV with extra scrubbing action, from the bottom of your feet, up inside your veins, arteries, muscles tissues, bones.
Feel the cleansing action go right up naturally and easily, effortlessly through your entire body into each chakra, one by one, opening your internal rainbow of red, orange yellow, green,blue, purple, white. See a Star shoot across the sky from your left. Watch as it suddenly stops mid sky, check in with your body to notice how you feel. Watch as it slowly turns and flies in the shape of the infinity symbol, watch and feel as the starry infinity symbol burns into your eyes, body and soul as a permanent image and link.
The Star slowly become larger and “falls” slowly lower down and moves towards you on the earth. See it shape shift into a Starry Bird with a small dove-like head and grows an eagles’ wings. See it flap its starry wings and fly lower and nearer to you, flying 50 feet in the air above you, radiating brilliant white/blue starlight. Feel the awe, the excitement, the essence that you are experiencing a miracle, a very mystical magical metaphysical event. Watch the Star Bird as it crosses over your head. Receive the essence.
Welcome the Star Bird/ white dove/Holy Spirit/Angel Gabriel/ Blue Kachina into your heart, your consciousness.
Feel what happens, sense it in your body. Keep breathing. Open your heart to the revelation, to this reality, It is real. Stay grounded, breathe.
Ask what the Star Birds’ message is for you.
Ask the Star Bird/Angel Gabriel to announce what your Divine mission and calling is.

Time is an illusion, what you do, moment to moment affects the past and the future all at the same time. You can fly anywhere! You are free! You have wings! You are an angel.The Star Bird returns to announce this. We are the Star Bird. We are one consciousness, one heart.
Take as much time as you need, to listen, the more relaxed you are the deeper your journey will be.

Super FULL MOON = Super Werewolf and She Wolf howlin’ times – aooh, aooh
The term SUPER MOON has come up in the public media lately as a way of explaining the catastrophic earthquake in Japan. Super Moons was coined by Astrologer Richard Nolle to describe the moon when the Moon is closest to the earth apogee, and szygy, love that name, in line with the Sun and Earth it happens regularly not once in a Blue Moon, Super Moons happen 5 or 6 times a year.
So this the 2nd Super Moon of 2011 happens on a Full MOON and next month as well on April 18th. The other 3 happen on New Moons Sept 27, Oct 26 and then the Only Eclipse SUPER moon on Nov. 25 a partial Eclipse. Next SUPER MOON isn’t until April 6, 2012.
But this one will appear very big, the biggest in 19 + years {a lunar cycle} Moon will be only only 221,556 miles away.

at 28 degrees 47 mins of VIRGO sign of ecology, health, service to others, organization, perfection, accountability, order.
The SUN is opposite of course at 28 degrees 47 mins of PISCES, the last sign in the Zodiac cycle.
We round off the degrees so the 29 th degree of any sign indicates that we must “GET IT” get all the energy of the entire previous 29 degrees before we move on to a new cycle. It is the integration crunch. We’re cramming for our finals.
Virgo is an Earth sign, practical, hard working, down to earth and very analytical as it is ruled by Mercury. The Moon being so close to the Earth means if its clear where you are you’ll see a huge Fume Moon rising in the EAST, 20-30% bigger than normal. Full Moons affect the tides, our emotions and this one should a huge pull and yearning that will be very palpable.
The SUN AND MOON square exactly he North and South Nodes of the Moon. This creates what is called a Mutable Grand Cross. Which is also SUPER Meaningful.
The North Node representing our highest spiritual goal is EXACTLY aligned with the GALCTIC CENTER at 27 degrees + change of SAGITTARIUS.

I was musing over the terrible eco disaster created by BP in the Gulf, the negligent cover ups in the US government oil industry lobbying whereby no extra saftey measures were instituted in US vs Norway, etc have. I just had a flash image of the volcano erupting in Iceland, as I was thinking about the BP oil spill. The painting by artist Napoleon Brousseau’s “Oil on Oil” also came to mind…
It struck me that there’s a connection these days between the man made screw ups, spewing oil wells in the ocean and the naturally occuring Volcanic eruptions in Iceland. Native people’s say that oil is the Earth Mothers’ blood.
The oil industry and all of us oil consumers in the world are Vampires sucking the Earth Mother’s blood out of her veins. Interesting that I have been musing about Twilight, the Vampire saga as well. This is how the synchonicity works for me. How I see the whole picture and how all the pieces fall into place. I get the AHA! The intutive flash where it all makes sense to me.
ARCHETYPES
Western Culture is a feeback mechanism, I guess you could call it a bio cultural feedback. Whatever is popular in Western culture is a message from the Archetypes. Archetypes, according to Joseph Campbell and Psychologist Carl Jung felt that Archetypes are core symbols, primal religious themes, Universal “seeds.” All cultures world wide recognise and share the same myths, stories, fables, underlying religious themes, inspirations, lessons. Archetypes are considered to be the living consciousness behind the myths.
TWILIGHT, VAMPIRES ‘R US
So for example the popularity on one level of Twilight, the Vampire interest is to place the trigger VAMPIRE into the consciousness in a primal popular way. Now the planets also have an interesting symbolic message to this BP oil spill. The planet Saturn,known as the Cosmic Cop, traditionally called The Great Malefic, bringer of limitations, obstacles, testing backed up into Virgo for its last sojourn on April 7th.Virgo is an Earth Sign so all earthly things come under that sign. Virgo is most concerned with practicality, perfection, organization, accounting, health, getting the job done. Wherever Sign Saturn is travelling through, it limits, creates obstacles to all the things goverened by that Sign. Saturn is currently retrograding at 28 degrees of Virgo, which is Squaring { a 90 degree HArd angle} to the Galactic Center at 27 degrees of Sagittarius.
Is there a planet which rules oil? Yes, its the Planet Neptune, which governs the Sign Pisces, who was King of the Ocean to the Greeks. { We’ll connect the Greek economic problems to all this in a moment.} So what’s the connection?

Qunicunx’s and Consequences

So we are getting our collective noses rubbed by this cosmic pattern. But it ain’t funny at all. The same Saturn Neptune QUNICUNX is creating CONSEQUENCES. I love how that rolls off the tongue but it is serious business. Saturn/Neptune is also related to the recession which began in 2008 because Neptune also rules DEBT, Fantasy, illusion, escapism, DENIAL.

Uranus the planet of revolution, freedom, liberation, inventiveness, technology, collectivism, humanitarian idealsim is moving to ZERO degrees of Aries, the Zero point and absolute beginning of the Astrology wheel. A new revolution, a collective thunderbolt of new inventiveness in tech is about to be unleashed as well as a groundswell of revolution over all those things that affect the collective of humanity.
I predict that something will be found to cap that nasty oil well, most likely on that day! The planet Saturn turns Direct in motion om May 30th indicating a turn around fromt he present state. Saturn ‘s been moving backwards Retro since Jan 13th, so 2010 has mainly been about reaping the karma of our previous behaviours. It’ll take awhile, till September 5th for Saturn to regain all that lost ground. Not until then can 2010 actually push forward into new territory. Amazing to think about the karmic repo man Saturn is for us. The very next day May 31st, Neptune then begins his retrograde period which lasts until November 7th. It’s a cosmic “push me, pull you.” One step forward, 2 steps behind.
We really do have to realize what blood {oil} sucking gluttonous Vampires we are and have been. The pollution its created, the ecodisaster, the financial crisis,the loss of jobs for people, this totally unecessary accident could have been avoided most likely if Proper saftey equipment had been mandatory, properly saftey checked etc. But BP is one form of the blood sucking vampires, they were greedy, they were “cutting costs.”
We are also culpable, recklessly drinking up Mother Earth’s prescious blood/oil. Our thirst for cars, industry,waste, plastic, convenience, fast, disposable, travel, freedom, me, I deserve it, plastic diapers, toys,bags,garbage bags, Oil is at the bottom of our modern consumer culture and “lifestyle.”
Volcanoes erupting in Iceland is a direct result of all the oil drilling all over the World. From the Persian Gulf to Mexico, we are bleeding and drinking Mother Earth dry. Whether you believe in the Green house effect or not. The actual reality is obvious if you can see the connection. Saturn= cause + effect. We greedy, we no think of consequences, we suffer from them. If you take out the oil somewhere in the Earth you are disrupting the blood and body of the Earth, and her anger is volcanic erruptions coming out at her puny disrespectful children to punish them. Earthquakes too are part of this scenario, as are tsunammis, tornadoes, hurricanes.

She was known as Demeter to the Romans and Ceres to the Greeks. We still honor Ceres’ abundance everyday in households around the world,by eating of her grains, CEREals.
We are beginning a new era with Uranus entering Aries. Uranus last entered Aries in March 31, 1927. That was the precurser to the Great Depression.
Then Saturn the repo man moves back into Libra July 21st and Uranus and Saturn face off in opposition to each other. The two planets were in opposition to each other in the 60′s. Pluto is the planet of Death, rebirth, Transformation, garbage, Nuclear energy; sex, regeneration, power, control, secrets, taxes as the modern ruler of Sign Scorpio. Uranus’s entry into Aries begins to creates a Square to Pluto in Capricorn as well as the oppositon to Saturn. This is one big heavy cross to near!We must inovate.
JUPITER ENTERS ARIES
Jupiter whos been dancing up chee to cheek with Uranus all during May, has an opposition to Saturn exact on MAy 23rd at 27 degreees 52 minutes of Pisces/Virgo. Again please note that these degrees Square the Galactic Centre at 27 degrees of Sagittarius. You know the Big Black Hole sucking up all light at the Center of the Milky Way Galaxy? 2012 has to do with the alignment of the Sun to the Glactic Centre on Winter Solstice that year. Note that Jupiter rules Sagitttarius and the Sign of Pisces traditionally. so Jupiter gives us a lot of bank for the bucks now. The revolution really revs up June 6th when Jupiter eneters the ring and speeds into Aries, joining Uranus . Jupiter expands everything. Jupiter is a risk taker, but also a philosopher, honest, idealistic, thinks Internationally, is the law maker, wants justice and does things in a big way. But it makes the entire situation more volatile.
MARS & ANGELS
Mars will be at the latter degrees of Leo just when Uranus enters Aries. Mars is the trigger, the defenses, war. Mars rules mundane events. Mars is hovering over the Fixed Star Raphael, bringer of Healing, ruler of the Heart and Will, Trust and Innocence. We need to connect to Archangel Raphael’s energy to help assuage this situation.
