St. Patrick, Catholic Irish Saint,is known for driving the snakes out of Ireland. That story  is actually a cultural re-visioning. St. Patrick, identified with the shamrock, was no Saint and not lucky at all for the pagans who worshipped the Goddess. Ireland since time out of mind was a pagan, Wiccan, Druid, Nature, Goddess worshipping land. These people were demonized and ripped off by St. Paddy. 

St. Paddy is NOT Irish. Born in Scotland  to Roman parents around 387 AD.  Taken prisoner at 14, he was sent to Ireland as a slave. He studied the language and learned the customs of the people, original Nature loving, pantheistic earth worshippers. 

As the story goes, Patrick prayed to God. He had a dream he was to leave Ireland but the Irish people were calling him back. He studied to be a priest. He became a Bishop and was sent back to Ireland to teach the Gospel. He arrived at Slane on March 25, 433. Patrick converted many thousands of people including Irish Kings who were moved {or threatened} upon hearing Patrick’s message. He himself had many disciples who were all later canonized. He preached for over 40 years, apparently worked many miracles, and wrote of his love for God in his confessions. He lived in poverty, travelled and endured much suffering and died March 17, 461 AD. at Saul, where he had built his first church. It’s 1,550 years since he died. 

THE SHAMROCK

Patrick used the shamrock, as the symbol of the holy Trinity. The SHAMrock or clover {note the sham pun in shamrock, puns are always give a ways} is originally an ancient PAGAN SYMBOL of the GODDESS, the original Holy TRINITY, the TRIPLE GODDESS, whose phases we see as the Moon waxing and waning.  

The Triple Goddess, like the Roman God Janus, who was also an overlay of the original Goddess worshipping religions, represents the past present and future. Christianity like Hinduism, Judaism, Islam always incorporated former religions but then skews the original meaning, usually inferring the opposite.

St. Patrick was famous for driving the snakes out of Ireland, meaning he drove the pagans out/converted them. The snake is a euphemism; the snakes symbolize the Goddess, rebirth, sexuality, eternity, and wisdom. Snakes were always her honoured symbol. In the re-writing of the Goddess history, the propaganda popularly known as the Bible, tells how in Genesis, the snake was turned into evil and Eve made to be seen as wicked, the original sinner, forever dooming women to hardship in birth, and never able to repent.

It is the worst most wicked, horrible, most ridiculous LIE,  filled with self-hatred, hatred of life, divorced from nature. It  was of course built on the foundations of Judaism and the old testament which was the historical very violent story of the crushing of the Goddess religion, the defamation of the Feminine.

Everything the Goddess stood for, love of Nature, the Feminine relating principles, honouring life, children, sexuality etc. was made bad, indecent, devil worship by the Catholic Church and the Bible.

Christians thank him the conversion of the ancient Irish pagans. But in the name of Christ who tolerated all peoples, honoured women and preached love of thy neighbour, pagans especially women,who were labelled witches and -worshippers,were tortured to convert, and had their properties and rank stolen from them.

 To some Pagans, wiccans, druids, Goddess worshippers St. Patrick is a despised person who drove the Irish people from their original faith.  Some Wiccans may actually enjoy the celebration because of its “hidden” Pagan meaning, and smile when they see devout Christians wearing the shamrock, the Goddess’symbol proudly.

As in the Mists of Avalon, the re-telling of the Arthurian and Grail legends from the original Pagan Goddess worshipping aspect, the Goddess in any name is still Her energy. Goddess worship is earth honouring, egalitarian, matriarchal. 

Just as the white people carry a collective karmic debt and shame for destroying Indigenous peoples earth worshipping religion and cultures. In Canada,there is now a token giving back, as in the Queen Charlotte Island being renamed in their indigenous tongue and land treaties give native people back the lands and bones or historical relics taken in colonialized plunder, as in Egypt and China that were stolen from them. 

Perhaps we should rethink St. Patrick when we’re out in the pub drinking green beer, wearing shamrocks, and singing When Irish Eyes Are Smilin’ and Oh Danny Boy and at least toast THE GODDESS. Because as She says: “All acts of love and beauty are my worship.” 

And speaking of Ireland. The name Tara, popularly connected to the Hills of Tara, and the Kings of Tara is originally a Goddess name. Tara, whose ancient worship continues today,She is still worshipped daily in India and Tibet.  Green Tara whose name is originally SITARA, means the Stars. Therefore she is just like the Egyptian Goddess of the sky, where all life originated, the goddess Nut, or Nuit, aka the Milky Way Galaxy. Hey we don’t call it a Guyaxy. 

Sitara, her name means the Galaxy, all that is, She is the original creatress, Mother Nature. The Sitar is her heavenly music, the music of the cosmos. Her worship is so ancient and widespread it ran from India all the way to Ireland.

In English Tara =Terra in Latin meaning The EARTH. Eartha or Artha in Sanskrit means the Earth. All the names have an etymological root from Sanskrit considered to be a holy language. So in India and Tibet the mantra, the prayers for Tara invoke her vibration, as chanting OHM is considered to be the original word of God. Tara actually has 21 different manifestations, colours and dances representing her powers.  Green Tara is Mother Nature.

The latest powerful earthquakes and  tsunami’s in Japan is the earth crying out for women to pay attention to her and act in right relationship.  If we are really humanKIND we must act kind, we must be kind, we must reKINDle ourselves in harmony with the heartflame of Grandmother Earth.

We are all Her children. We are but little specs, like ants upon her bosom, see how fragile we truly are when Mother Nature shakes us about, she is showing us who is boss she’s giving us humans a time out for acting badly to her. 

MOTHER EARTH, the Divine Feminine is full of unconditional love for all of us but we, MEN  have raped and abused her for thousands of years now and her womb,the oceans are polluted and the air, her breath and the earth, her body had been so ravaged by greed and masculine dominator models for over 5,000 years. None of her earth should be mined, blasted, no oil pumped out, no radioactive materials used.

Any mistreatment of women and children who are created in her DIVINE IMAGE, Feminine like Her Self is an affront to The Goddess= Our Mother. To further strengthen our commitment to the 100th anniversary of International Womens’ day we need to honour the earth with our bodies and our blood more than ever. Holy Grail, Sacred Blood heals the earth

In ancient times Women’s menstrual blood was considered Holy, the Sacred Blood of Life. The Holy Grail is the womb itself the Sang Real is royal blood. Menstrual blood was the first blood used to fertilize crops, the beginning of agriculture. The red carpet which we know to today used by Hollywood stars denoting power, wealth, beauty was originally a special carpet that women  bled upon which gave it its power. 

Women your monthly period is your sacred menstrual blood of Life and will help to heal the earth. As in homeopathic cures, like cures like and in magick intention is everything. We must give back what She has honoured us with, the Gift of Life and to give back .

You know this in the deepest part of your wombs in your unconscious in your cells. All you have to do is get past the programming and remember what your body tells you. Ask your womb if it is holy? Is your monthly bleeding time sacred? Is your monthly flow not the root of and intended to bring forth the miracle of life? How could it be any other way? We need to move out of unconsciousness into empowerment and enlightenment, this is it. Your body hold the magick. You need to free yourself til you can laugh at how ridiculous it is to believe that your sacred body and its natural flow could be anything but sacred and holy.

If you are a woman who still bleeds, save your blessed menstrual blood in a non-toxic pad or cup and pour some onto the earth or in a body of water with a prayer of powerful intention to heal mother earth NOW. This will greatly benefit the earth and all her relations.

Especially at this very powerful u[coming Super Moon on March 19 when the full Moon will be closest to the Earth in 20 years, if you are bleeding then use that time especially. Anytime and always is the best time. Give back to Mother earth that which She has given you. This is ancient pagan wiccan ceremonial magick. It is very powerful menstrual blood,  that is why there was all the taboos about women bleeding.

Imbolc,Candlemas,St. Brigid’s Day,Groundhog Day Feb 1-2 Tara Greene rituals

Feb. 1st –2nd IMBOLC Traditional Irish and Pagan Holiday Celebrations

 

 

 

Traditionally what we modern Westerners know as Groundhog Day was and is, on Feb 1st or 2nd is celebrated in the Modern Irish Calendar as Saint Brigid’s Day,or Bride’s Day. Both a Catholic and an ancient Pagan Celebration,an ancient Goddess tradition, also called Imbolc, still celebrated by Wiccans/Pagan based Earth honouring religions. Christians overlaid the Ancient Goddess worshipers’ holiday renaming it Candlemas or the fest of the Purification of the Virgin. This celebration also relates to the midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.

It is a “cross-quarter” day in the 8 rounds of the Wheel of Time in the Solar based year. Since the Celtic Year was based on both lunar and solar cycles, it is most likely the holiday would be celebrated on the Full Moon nearest those 2 midpoints, when early spring flowers would begin to rise up through the snow, and snakes would come out of the ground. This is the precursor of the Groundhog, which the Romans replaced with a Hedgehog, which we… On Feb. 2nd this year there is a NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS at 12:45 am EST.
That Ancient peoples of Ireland kept this day as very sacred. At the Megalithic and Neolithic sites, such as the Loughcrew burial mounds and the Mound of the Hostages in Tara, Ireland, the inner chambers of the passage tombs are perfectly aligned with the rising sun of both Imbolc and Samhain attesting to the value placed on this day.

Triple Goddess/Saint Brigid/Bride

She is according to Robert Graves, the most Ancient Triple Goddess worshipped since time out of mind. The Goddess rules over scholars and poets. She is the Goddess of fire and inspirations in Ireland, the Goddess of poetry, creativity, smithcraft and healing. She also rules healing with water, and divination. She is said to rule over people who work with cows and chickens, brewers, fugitives, midwives, infants, printers, sailors, travelers, New Zealand, & Irish nuns. This day symbolizes a time of transitions, initiations, new beginnings, of planting seeds that will sprout later. Brigid/Birgita represents the light half of the year,Her power brings the people out of the dark season of winter into spring, so, it is a very important time of the year.

She is the Goddess of Augury

In the Druidic tradition, poetry and augury were associated. She is patron of prophets and seers.

Celtic seers divined by looking into deep water and into flames. This is a great time to do divination. STare at a candle, a fireplace with conscious intention. Call upon Brigid to come to you.

Triple Goddess

She has two sisters with the same name. One aspect of her carries a blacksmith tongs and a sword, because she is also patroness of war; another aspect holds 2 healing snakes, from which the modern Doctor’s symbol is derived, the caduceus, the third aspect carries a wand with a crescent moon and a tablet.

Elements

Brigid rules the Waters. Many healing springs are dedicated to Brigid. Natural bodies of water also signify Her presence, particularly where three streams joined together. She also rules Fire, so it is customary to make candles for the coming year and bless them on this day.

Protecting Goddess

In her aspect as Brigantia, she carries a spear, an orb of victory, and wears a war crown. She symbolizes protection of the country from invaders and slavery.

Midwives

As Patroness of Midwives, she was invoked at the door of the home where the woman was giving birth, by the midwife. Who speke:

Bride, Bride, come in! Thy welcome is truly made, Give thou relief to the woman, And give thou the conception to the Trinity.

Brigid is the guardian of every newborn, their cradles protected with a woven Brigit’s Cross, an equal armed cross. Upon a safe delivery, the infant was blessed or “sained” by the midwife, with 3 drops of water on the child’s forehead, dedicating the Child to the Triple Goddess. The “Holy Trinity” in its modernized Christian aspect, was just an overlay of the Goddess Triple Aspect since time out of memory. A candle was carried ‘round the bed sun wise three times. As Brigid is a Solar Goddess. We think of the Sun as masculine but originally all aspects of the Universe were considered Feminine.

Brigid Ruler of the Hearth

Especially in Gaelic Scotland, Brigid’s dolls are placed near the hearth on her Feast Day. The doll is usually dressed in white, decorated. A white wand is placed in her bed as a fertility charm. As she is patroness of agriculture, pastures, livestock, and abundance. An offering is made to her of dairy products. The Brigid doll is kept throughout the year near the hearth hung on a wall, or by a door, as a talisman of protection, then burnt the next year.

One folk tradition still continues in both Christian and Pagan homes on St. Brigid’s Day is that of St. Brigid’s Bed. Girls and young unmarried women create corn dollies to represent Brigid, these are adorned with ribbons, baubles shells or stones. A bed is made for the doll to lie in. On St. Brigid’s Eve Jan 31, the girls gather together in one house and stay up all night with the doll, are are later visited by all the young men, who ask permission to enter the home, and then treat the young maidens and the dolly with respect. The next day the girls carry the doll through the neighbourhood from house to house, where she is welcomed with great honour. Adult women stay home to welcome the Brigid procession and offer snacks and coins to the young girls and maidens.

Brigid is said to walk the earth on Imbolc eve. Feb 1st. Before going to bed, each member of the household may leave a piece of clothing or strip of fabric outside for Brigid to bless. The cloth are brought inside the next morning, believed to now have the powers of healing and protection.

BRIGID is alive and well.

The name “Britain” is a derivation of Brigit’s name. Britain was named for an ancient Celtic tribe, the Brigantes, who were the largest Celtic tribe in the country in pre-Roman times who worshipped Her as their Deity. The tribe originated from an area now called Bregenz in Austria near Lake Constance. The word “brigand” comes from this tribe of fierce warriors. Her symbol is a flaming spear. Her worship spread, leaving behind places named in Her honour-Brittany in France, Brechin in Scotland, the name Brent, in England, any name containing Bride. Britain’s symbol, the Goddess Brigantia, still found on their 50 cent coin is Brigid in her aspect as Goddess of the Land. In Old German/Yiddish the word “Fabrent” meaning burnt honours this Ancient Goddess. Of course Britany Spears is carrying the modern archetype of Brigid, and strangely enough one of Brigid’s symbols is a flaming spear!

 Aug 6- 7^th 2010  Tara Greene’s  Astrology Updates and advice for the ongoing continuous stress of Uranian Plutonian revolutionize and change now or soon die and maxxed out Cardinal crosses including a number of planets!  

Since the June 26 Lunar eclipse Grand Cardinal Cross which instigated these 2010-2012 CArdinal Years there’s now more energies applying again, more hits to get us up and moving. 

These days there is now Jupiter and Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn, The Moon in early degrees of Cancer, Venus just entered Libra, her Home sign, cozying up to Mars and Saturn in the scales of Karmic Justice. Producing, count ‘em  10 squares and 7 oppositions! That’s a whopping tension.  

That number of new beginnings-early Cardinal Sign planets in Grand Cross formation hasn’t been seen in about 2,000 years!!!! What happened back then? 

   

The Jupiter Pluto square will be in effect for the nest 6 weeks!  Jupiter is Mr. Big, Jupiter rules foreigners, airplanes, religious fanatics, higher education, travel, philosophy, legal matters, risk tasking. Jupiter is THE Wheel of Fortune in the Tarot. Pluto is Hades lord of the Underworld, Soul presence, shadow, Pluto if used very consciously is power and riches. Negatively its’s secrets, power and control over others. But its all good,as its’ purpose is all about destruction  or de-construction & resurrection.  So how’s your personal D & R. going?  

How Phoenix do you feel?  Or how close or far are you from that event horizon? 

Pluto rules riches and worldly power in Capricorn and Jupiter is BIG, so large market falls are possible, big new laws which may limit people which then brings Uranus also in early Aries into the picture as the revolution is beginning to heat up. 

Cardinal crosses- who cares?

 

It all adds up to MUCHO STRESS! These  planets  Jupiter and Uranus, Mars Venus and Saturn all squared by Pluto and now opposed by the Cancer Moon are rubbbing against each other at 90 degrees angels and 180 degree -tug of war oppositions. With the newish Venus and Mars action with Saturn in Libra it’s supposed to be about Balance, fair play, equality, right? Jupiter and Uranus in Aries say its a whole new ball game, innovate now or forever kick yourself in the butt. This is just the preliminaries.  

Jupiter and Uranus are both Retrograding back to Pisces - Uranus on Aug 13th, Jupiter on Sept. 9 right after the mid Virgo New Moon and the beginnning of the Jewish New Year, Jupiter is Yahweh, so some kind of a spiritual karmic replay with Israel is forthcoming. Perhaps war!!  

These’re KArmic Times all right!  

ARE WE PRODUCING PEARLS YET?  

I feel the planet to work with – albeit quickly as she will only be in Cancer from Friday Aug 6th at 2:50 pm PDT till Aug 8 4:23 pm. But La Luna goes Void of Course on the 7th at 11:46 am and that’s the best time to do meditations or ceremonies. Sat Auh 7th around noon until Sunday Aug 8 at 4:23 pm PDT. Interesting its 88 again. 

 in this mix is the Moon, as she is once again in early Cancer as she was on June 26 the newcomer in this Grand cross. Squares can be liked to sand in the proverbial oysters, irritating as hell to the bivalve but what’s the oyster do? puts some spit and saliva on it to mitigate those outchy hard edges and what’s the outcome? a Pearl!    

Venus and Saturn are both at their best in Libra, Venus rules it, Saturn is exalted there.  This promises more harmony, equanimity, balancing and peace for a short period. Mars is weak in Libra the sign opposite the one he rules Aries. Moon rules Cancer in this cardinal cross. These are the ongoing Cardinal Cross years 2010-2012.  

We are at a Cross Roads,Cardinal refers to beginnings. This is the shift of the world ages.  

Planets are near where they were at the Great Depression of 1929. The 60′s generation that was seeded by Uranus and Pluto in Virgo with Saturn opposite in Pisces is having their collective mid life crisis. Things are tense, the forces of old established Patriarchal Capricorn corporate authority is being overhauled and restructured and recycled and destroyed by Plutonian influences. But not until they try to initiate fascism and the New world order, everyone is chipped and watched and police state politics, GMO, mad cow, brain meltdowns etc.  

The Catholic Church is falling apart, their known abuse of young men, the Church’s  homosexual shadows, it’s unholy piosness and callous cruelty in the false name of righteousness and blashepmy of Jesus is being uncovered for all to see. The church is responsible for burning and torturing over nine million people, mainly women in over 300 years,taking over their property over falsely accusing them of being witches and consorting with the devil. All lies. The churches is one of the richest most powerfull Institutions in the World. It is almost infallable. But fall it will,as people wake up and learn to see with their own eyes as Jesus said.   

This is one of the purposes of these Cardinal crosses, to raise awareness.

On a personal level:  

I know people are overracting, over stressed. My experience with all this- dumping, shadow spitting and all the dark parts that no one wants to own comming out in the clear blue light of day is a cleansing. Dont react to any of  it. It’s like a fire drill. Remain calm, it’ll all blow over like smoke, like ashes.  See it for what it is. That’s how you start making pearls of wisdom.  

It is a g reat clearing and cleansing. It isn’t necessarily pretty. My sense is everyone really needs to go into their hearts, and ask what their own personal truth is to cultivate and be in a place of love. The new frequencies and dimensions incoming are very high. We are walking on a knife blade. All there is is now. People are sick of too  much information, false reality, over complexity. Slow everything down and simplify your life.  

Neptune and Chiron are still inclose proximity. Chiron re-entered Aquarius July 20, he stays in Aquarius till 2011 and closely aligns with Neptune again at years end. The Wounded Healer Chiron and Neptune the planet of egolessness, spirit, Bliss, dissolving into Oneness, dreams, artistry, illusion, delusion, fantasy, denial, oil, addictions are showing us the cosmic signature.The Gulf oil crisis is the negative side of their cheek to cheek dance. The positive side is Healing of one’s soul, of the spiritual wounds. Be joyous.  

Aug 8th Venus and Saturn conjunct. Time to get serious in binding relationships. Many relationships end now, it is a karmic turnign point. How in balance is your life, love, finances and artistic endeavours? How much beauty do you create,appreciate, own?  New art forms will come out of this cardinal cross.  

With Moon in Cancer – be nice to your tummy. If you need to crawl under the covers in a fetal position and suck your thumb or hold your blankie that’s ok  too. And let the tears fall as well.
I find crying to be a great release from all the tension. Security needs and issues come up in all relationships very strongly. Power backlashes are the result of insecurity. Remember that.  

 Meditate and breath in the Light. Powerfull spiritual master teacer are nearby and hovering in very close waiting and watching and coming if you ask. Dont be afraid. remember where you came from. We all come from the stars.   

I was visiting friends of mine up in the Bancroft area in Northernish Ontario the other day. They mentioned a lot of UFO sightings in the country and Pleiadian sightings. Call in the ones who love you who are in the Light to help you navigate through these turbulent times.

Did you feel the earthquake on Wednesday June 24^th? In Toronto, that’s the preview of the GROUNDBREAKING literally- Capricorn- earth sign Cardinal Grand Cross Lunar ECLIPSE ON June 26. The Epicentre was north of Ottawa, the Canadian capital city who is the host of the G8 and G20 conferences. Earthquake registered 5.5 on the Richter scale, pretty big and heavy for the very solid Canadian Shield. Its effects were felt all the way to New York. Gaia, the earth she is a rockin’ something earth shaking is upon us. The G20  happens in Toronto on June 26.  

  A MAJOR cosmic EVENT of 2010  

 This is one of the most powerful Cardinal GRAND CROSSES on a LUNAR ECLIPSE ever! It is one of the Major events of 2010! Happening just a few days after the Summer Solstice – Sun at Zero degrees of Cancer, the chart shows a Full Moon with PLUTO URANUS SATURN JUPITER and MERCURY, that’s 5 planets folk’s all within 5 degrees if the four Cardinal compass points of the seasons. Number 5. number 5, number 5. Number 5 in the Tarot symbolizes trouble, testing, it is the symbol called the Pope traditionally or the Heirophant, which fits perfectly into the G20 summit,all the leaders are “high priests.” 

Cardinal signs mark the shift from one season to another. Witt the big outer planets involved – SHIFT HAPPENS! – IN THE WORLD.  

 TRIPLE THREAT GRAND CROSS-  

A grand cross or a Grand Square is comprised of at least 4 squares and two oppositions between planets.  This Grand Cross involves 12 Squares and 6 opposing planets! That’s a Triple threat. Squares are pressure points, like sand in an oyster, they are irritating, frustrating, and they make ya move. With the focus on the Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn, the results needed from all this pressure must be practical, long term, solid, real.  

 THE REVOLUTION BEGINS HERE!  

The big outer planets involved Uranus, Saturn, Pluto- these planets propelled the 60’s revolution. The Kennedy’s, the Beatles, War resistance, the Love-IN’s from an Astrology perspective the conjunction of Uranus and Pluto in Virgo opposite to Saturn in Pisces during the mid 60’s created the Cultural Revolution.  

Everyone born during the mid 60’s is being challenged now to wake up and create something real out of all the ideals that were seeded then. This is the mid life crisis of the All you need Is Love, Woodstock generation.  

 GREAT DEPRESSION DEJA VU  

Uranus and Jupiter in Aries sound a wake up call to do things differently, with renewed vigour. Down side is too much bravado, short term fix its, over optimism, recklessness and war mentality.  Jupiter and Uranus at the beginning of Aries is the end of an old, approx 84 year cycle and heralds the beginning of a new one. Uranus and Jupiter were at the same degrees as in the spring of 1927, just before the Great World Depression of 1929. Same thing all over again coming soon? Remember other government regimes that came into power concurrently with that cycle… We are condemned to repeat history if we don’t learn from our mistakes.  

 Anything which is banned, restricted, suppressed, feared, projected goes into hiding in the shadow in the Unconscious, The Lunar Eclipse plus the energies of Saturn {karma} in Virgo, sign of Health, work, perfectionism, nitpickiness’, and Uranus planet of revolution in Aries, sign of New Life, along with Jupiter, Mr. Big, all aligned to create massive stress, and change. Things are VERY TENSE.  

The Gulf of Mexico, BP oil slick continues to grow, Gaia’s blood, the oil is spilling into the Oceans, floods, earthquakes, nations economies toppling. We know we are are on shaky ground.  

 THE ENDARKENMENT of the World Soul and the FEMININE SHADOW  

 Pluto is Conjunct the Moon so both energies are combined and being eclipsed, at the same degree of Capricorn.  Pluto, never mind some Astronomers remoting Pluto-represents the Collective Unconscious, the world Soul, the shadow. Pluto is Power, Control, Secrecy, Manipulation, the Birth Giver and Death bringer, the Great Recycler. Pluto in Capricorn represents all the G20 leaders in Toronto at this time.  

The Moon symbolizes the people, their feelings, emotions, need for emotional security, nurturing, the mothering principle. The Moon absorbs, reflects, and is the dreaming nature, the intuition.  This conjunction on the Capricorn Lunar Eclipse, sign of Patriarchal Corporate authority, the old boys network, shows a reversal of power coming into effect.  

 The Sun, the Source, is in Cancer which is ruled by the Moon. Mercury, thinking and communicating, is conjunct the Moon, connected to the feminine, feeling nature.  

This situation symbolizes the World Soul {Pluto} the People and their need for Emotional Expression, Security, Nurturing, the Relating and Mothering Principle {Moon} merging together, combining their energies. As the Solar Rays and the Earth endarken and enshroud the Moon and Pluto during the eclipse the usual patterns of the Lunar unconscious energies, Big SHIFTS occur, new dimensional pathways and vibrations open.  

 It’s a fusion of the shadow, the feelings, the collective unconscious, what has been repressed, underground, rotting, is being REBORN in Plutonic fashion. The shadow and the dark, the void, is the home ground of the feminine nature. This is the ensoulment of the feminine feeling nature, being birthed into the World; it is like the Shekinah in the Kabbalah.  

This Lunar Eclipse allows for a transformation of all that has been repressed in our feeling natures, in the Goddess, in our relationship to the earth Herself, to Gaia, to flow out into a practical, grounded Capricorn Solidarity.  It may be underground, a groundswell, long term goaled, hard working. This creates a rebalancing to the New World Order’s corporate world, like a Dragon, a chthonic, archaic revival, a pagan, earthy energy coming to swallow it up.  

During a Lunar Eclipse, the Dragon’s Head aka the North Node, and the Dragon’s Tail the South Node align closely enough with the Sun Moon and Earth which enables an eclipse to occur.  This pattern occurs cyclically and regularly, every six months.  

 SUPER GALACTIC CENTER ALIGNMENT  

The Grand Cross also aligns with the SUPER GALACTIC CENTER {SGC} which is at 1 degree 46 minutes of Libra. It is a colossal Black Hole with the mass of a billion suns, around which the Milky Way and many other galaxies revolve. Powerful electromagnetic transmissions emanate from the SGC acting as a spiritual beacon of other dimensional energies. Memories of our cosmic origins and memories may be triggered by the SGC especially being highlighted by the Grand Cross Lunar Eclipse. Watch your dreams carefully around the Eclipse. The effects of a lunar eclipse generally last 6 months.

This Eclipse is part of what’s known as Saros cycle 146, which began in 1541! That date points to the beginning of modern Astronomy, the Renaissance and a major paradigm shift away from a geocentric model of the Universe.  Each cycle builds and evolves on the previous ones.

This Lunar Eclipse is opposite to {by a few degrees} the Lunar Eclipse which will occur on Winter Solstice, December 21, 2010  @ 29 degrees of Gemini, {a critical degree and symbol} which also puts us smack on the mark, aligning us with you know what- in two years time.  So this is a very valuable alignment to use to create what, where, how, you want to feel and evolve over this next 2 and a half years.  

 The revolutionary nature of the eclipse is further enhanced by Uranus stationing Retrograde on July 5 and hovering over the first degree of Aries for 78 days, from May 27 to Aug 14. Saturn makes its 3^rd quincunx exact the day after the eclipse – see more about this later} signalling an end to a nine month pregnancy stage in prep for birthing.  

 SATURN, GALACTIC CENTER, CERES  

Saturn in Virgo is also just past a Square to the Galactic Centre at 27 degrees of Sagittarius which the Asteroid Ceres is near, 2 degrees away, retrograding right now. Again the strong earthy Ceres connection pointed out by the Square from Karmic Saturn, to the Higher consciousness and source of cosmic knowledge and understanding needed to evolve with here. The Galactic Centre is the focal point of the Dec 21 2012 alignment of the SUN to the Center of Consciousness in our Milky Way Galaxy.  

WOUNDED Healers, BP OIL, SYMBOLISM & LILLITH

 There are other significant players at this time. Neptune is Retrograde at 28 degrees of Aquarius.  Neptune rules the Oceans and Oil, martyrdom, delusion, illusions, addictions, Secrets enemies, endings, spirituality, meditation, drugs, glamour, Hollywood, Bliss, compassion, dreams, the Unconscious, artists, music.   

CHIRON, the Wounded Healer is Retrograde at Zero Degrees of Pisces. Did you know that Chiron entered the sign of Pisces on the day of the BP Deepwater Horizon oilrig breakdown in the Gulf of Mexico on April 20? How amazing is that synchronicity?  

Neptune and Chiron have been dancing cheek to cheek in late Aquarius since 2009.  

A significant new player is now in the mix creating a ménage a trios.  

Lillith, she the feared harpy, the original Woman, is sandwiched in between Chiron and Neptune at 29 degrees of Aquarius. Lillith represents the most feared energy of the FEMININE, she symbolizes the uncompromising, rejecting, independent energy of women. She is Kali-like; she is the death bringing aspect of the feminine. In the original Hebrew Bible, she was created equal to Adam from the earth, she refused to be dominated by him and left paradise voluntarily refusing to compromise forgive or return. Lillith’s energy was greatly feared. She was almost written out of history when replaced by Eve as Adam’s all complacent and punishable by Divine Write man made law, turning the Goddess into something “shameful, born in Sin, everlastingly punished and labouring in pain.”  

Lillith’s presence here is quincunxing Saturn at 28 degrees of Virgo. A quincunx is a 150-degree aspect between inharmonious elements.  

Lillith’s energy can never be truly repressed. To repress the independent, uncompromising wisdom of women is to deny her her strength and power and her Divine nature. LILLITH’S ENERGY WHEN NOT HONOURED IS VERY DESTRUCTIVE.  

 Combined with Neptune and Chiron we see the archetypal symbol of all that is being repressed in our relationship to the primordial energies of the Feminine, the Earth, with Neptune’s symbolizing our Divine Spiritual origins, our Dreams, Divine Love – with Chiron- where the wounds and the vulnerabilities are and the potential to be healed, Quincunx to earthy Saturn in Virgo who wants to clean up the earth. Quincunx’s point out where the work is to be done as, like a bunch of mainly white male world leaders, they don’t get along very harmoniously or share the same values. Saturn is karmic, so we gets what we put out. Gaia, Lillith, Ceres, Saturn these are all archetypal Feminine Goddess Planetary symbols.  Saturn is originally Feminine of course. Saturn rules Capricorn and Aquarius. So the critical 29th degree is being invoked here. This is the 11th hour of our survival! 

 I believe this is yet another sign of the Shadow aspect of the feminine rising up, shaking the earth, like we felt in Toronto the other day.  Saturn won’t stay long in Virgo, the latter degrees of signs are the final curtain call and signify the alarm is going off, a dire need to do something. The quincunx to Neptune and Chiron with Lillith in late Aquarius shows the fallibility of modern technology in the still unable to contain the Oil spill in the Gulf. And I see more shaking of the Earth, and her economies going on. We have reached critical mass. This Lunar Eclipse signifies a shakedown by the Divine Feminine, if you don’t honour Mother Nature; you get what you got comin’ to you.  

 On June 26 1991 a lunar eclipse occurred at 5 degrees Cancer-Capricorn; a solar eclipse at similar degrees occurred Dec 25, 2000 and a lunar eclipse at 3 degrees Capricorn- Cancer on June 24 2002. Think back about what was going on in your life then? What is calling you now?  

The Sabian symbols for the Sun-  “ an automobile wrecked by a train, the tragedy of an individual will’s pitting themselves against the collective will of society.”  For the Moon “ Indian’s on the warpath. The mobilization of physical and emotional energies in the spirit of conquest.” The caution is not to be self-centred or reckless.  

Asteroids TORONTO HARPER GAEA  

In the chart I created I used a few of the thousands of Asteroids to see how they fit into the whole picture. It’s always amazing to me how the symbolism works.  

Asteroid HARPER, #16254, representing the Canadian PM who is orchestrating the G20 in Toronto, for a whopping billion-dollar tax payer steal, is at 27 degrees of Sagittarius conjunct both Ceres at 25 degrees of Sagittarius and the Galactic Center on the Eclipse.  Harper is being squared by karmic Saturn and squeezed by Mother Earth Ceres, symbolizing he will get his come uppance.  

Asteroid Gaea # 1184  {Gaia} is at 23 degrees of Gemini conjunct Asteroid Toronto # 2104  at 20 degrees of Gemini,{ I kid you not}  symbolizing Toronto being the world’s focus at the moment for the G20 and the publicity, media, Big Talks, Gemini information generating, both are also Squared off by Saturn in Virgo and opposed by Ceres, Harper, the Galactic Centre.  A tight T-Square.  Again in spite of the barricades and nearly a billion spent, the public will not like it. The Galactic Centre represents a Super Highway of Cosmic consciousness.  

Even if the karmic come-uppance doesn’t appear right now, the Higher Consciousness powers that be have more power and influence than we can even perceive.

Halloween is Witches New Year. Remember the Burning Times by Tara Greene

Halloween Samhain The Witches New Year

These days Halloween has become another day in the year in which to sell lots of scary rubber and plastic paraphernalia, fake blood, creaky coffin lid opening soundtracks, the Monster Mash, etc etc. another commerical holiday. Children dressed in costumes go door to door with their pillowcases {environmentally friendly} asking Trick or Treat! The kiddies are given way too much sugar, and carefully pre-packaged non interfered with goods. Adults these days get into the Halloween theme by dressing up- straight guys love to be able to go out in drag on Halloween and generally party, funkily “spook-up” their environments and drink a lot. Lots of scary movies get shown.

But let’s not forget the origins of Halloween. It is Hallowed Evening. A Holy Evening, the Ancient Pagan/Wiccan New Year during the month when the Sun is in Scorpio, sign of Birth Death and Transformation. It is close to the mid-point between Autumn and Winter Solstice. Death is Rebirth. Wiccans honour this eve as the night when the veil between the two worlds is thinnest and much scrying, gazing into crystal balls and connecting with the spirits of the dead goes on as this night offers easiest access.

The Wheel of the Year Turns and this is a Sabbat or Sabbath Night, covens gather to do Ceremony. This is a Sacred not a Scared Night.

I wish in the midst of your pumpkin carving and revellery that you take time out to honour this day as it was originally intended. Remember in the midst of all the superficial trappings of Halloween, the hundreds of thousands, some say up to 9,000,000 mainly women, children and men who were accused of being witches by the Catholic Church who were tortured and burned at the stake. Old women, crones, medicine women, herbalists, midwives, pagans,their families, the poor, all innocent people who lived in harmony with Nature, who Loved their Mother the Earth, who knew the Wise Women Ways, the ancient ways to heal, to tend the sick, the dying, the mothers giving birth. It was a mysogynist nazi Christian tyranny that went on for over 300 years in Europe and to the New World where the last woman was burned at the stake at Salem. Remember this Holocaust because it wasn’t so long ago. You didn’t have to be Jewish orMuslim you mainly just had to be a woman and therefore evil in the sainted eyes of the Holy Christian Church.

I remember my own burning, the Inquisitors {one of whom turned out to be in this present life, my first husband, and a couple of Real Estate Agents, one Jewish, one Black} I relived this memory during a Holotropic Breathwork session. Many other women also relived the same experiences. It was horrible, my own two children were forced to stand and watch as their mother was tied to the stake and the fire lit. Of course I wasn’t meek or mild, I screamed and cursed them all for their inhumanity and ignorance, for their sadism and cruelty.

Those 100,000-200,000 to 9 million innocent souls who were terribly tortured and burned are back now on this earth.

Deep in the cells of your being in your cellular consciousness be you male or female at this time, you remember the Burning Times when you lived in total fear, when you hid you pagan religion, your ability to help, to heal, when tyranny was all around and anyone could accuse you of being a witch thereby ensuring your almost certain death. Watch The Burning Times a Canada Film Board movie which chronicles in detail this stain upon humanity.

Light a candle for those hundreds of thousands of souls who were innocent and remember what it was like. Given 6 degrees of separation you or someone you love, your children or your dog or cat, a friend or even your landlord was surely enough one of those people.

It’s time to acknowledge the deep pain in the shadows of our unconscious. The only way to heal it is to acknowledge that shadow, let the tears flow, the grief, the agony. This brings it out of unconsciousness otherwise that shadow control our actions unconsciously and allows us to keep inflicting pain on others and self, believing that we are not worthy, not lovable, deceitful, sinners,powerless. There is a collective shadow of women being afraid to hold their power and beauty.

As this is a New Year in the Ancient Count of Days Light a Candle of Illumination and Enlightenment and go beyond the rage, the anger into Love and Forgiveness. For the only way out is to forgive the accusers for their ignorance. This takes great strength and courage, for as you Forgive them you also forgive yourself and allow yourself to be free of the past.

They will have gotten their karmic comeupance.
