Friday the 13th may be known for bad luck in the West but not this one. 

 The superstition originated with the Catholic Church declaring anything and everything associated with pagans, nature worshippers to be  turned upside down, like the image in the HANGED MAN  in the Tarot Cards and made evil.  In modern Western parlance we would say that the Catholic church is very PLUTONIC as they created THE DEVIL, they projected their own shadows and ideas of sinfulness. Goddess worshippers did not deny the body, sexual pleasure and everything that existed. The earth was still the Garden of Eden, there never was a fall or split and is still considered so by modern pagans as well as shamans in Peru and other places to this day.

13 is the number of Lunar cycles in a year. 13 is therefore associated with the Moon and all things Female and by extension, from the church’s point of view bad, sinful, dirty, wrong,scary. The Moon is,like the  MOON card in the Tarot, dreams, the dark, intuition, fear.  So thirteen represents a natural cycle and all original ancient religions were based on lunar calendars.

Chinese calendars are Lunar, as are  Jewish and Muslim calendars.

Use gold, wear it, if you have real gold, 22 k is best, the purer the better; jewellery of any kind, gold bars if you have them.

use golden or yellow candles. Wear gold or bright yellow colours;

get some saffron and infuse it into a tea, it turns into that gorgeous rich golden yellow. 

 get some yellow flowers, daisy’s, dahlia’s, daffodils, yellow roses

and some golden coloured honey, and or mead.

The ritual should consist of a breathing relaxing meditation, so put on your favourite relaxation music,

Firstly imagine a circle of golden light around you, this keeps you safe and protects you.

Begin by imagining 3 Golden dragons, if you can’t  visualize them, feel their hot golden breath, hear them snorting and flapping their golden wings,

then thank you to your ancestors, as is the Ancient tradition, and the intention of whom you want to benefit firstly,

All the riches, wealth, abundance that you wish for must come as a wish to help others first.. not for ego purposes,

Then imagine the three dragons all together breathe out a golden firy breath which appears above your head as a bright clear golden light. This golden light begins to pour into your body from the sky over your head,

 pouring down into your crown chakra, like liquid sweet sensuous honey,

feel that molten, not hot, golden light pour through your body,totally suffizing and permeating your entire physical body. You will feel lighter and lighter, richer and richer, as if you are glowing liek the Sun.

When you feel totally suffused with golden light.  Breathe out into the palm of your hand,and imagine

see and feel golden warm breath emanating from within you; hold that golden breath cloud in your palm,

The golden light will tranform in to a small golden dragon, the dragon will be placed where it wants to be

in your 3rd chakra, two finger widths below your navel, this is your personal place of power of Light.

Do the breathing of the golden breath 3 times in total, each time seeing the small golden dragon appear  in your palm

and each time place it into your 3rd chakra.

of Libra. The very last and Critical degree in the sign of Relationships, Balance, Karma,the Arts, the judicial system, beauty, the sign of marriage and relationships. All things in relationship to each other, which is in essence ALL THAT IS are being weighed in the Egyptian Great Goddess Maat’s scales of Justice. All relationship issues especially marriage are being revamped, repealed, revealed, re-enacted, renewed, renovated, reinvigorated, resting,reset, reviewed. The cosmic Doctor Saturn is giving us all a big prescription, a time for tonic.  A general Rx time as this is the Retrograde glyph.

Saturn, also known as THE GRIM REAPER will bring endings for many relationships that aren’t in balance on all levels to fold during this time period. Think of it like this, the modern metaphor for Saturn Retrograde is just like going through Security at the airport. You have to wait in line for aeons, you have to take off your shoes,surrender your belongings, maybe get searched, patted down, invaded, x-rayed, etc. If you don’t past muster with the powers that be, you may be tasered, and hauled off for interrogation on suspicion of being a terrorist {substitute wall street occupier, political activist, revolutionary.}

But, there are other factors at work now like higher consciousness PLUS the influences of the infamous Uranus, planet of Revolution in early Aries squaring Pluto now one of the major hallmarks of 2012. Remember that Saturn is the Ancient ruler of Aquarius, until that  planet was discovered in 1781 by Hershel, the symbol looks like an H.

Vedic/India Astrologers only use the 7 traditional ”planets” so Saturn does rule revolutionary Aquarius to them. So this brings in added meaning. Thar will be no fooling in relationships,to Mother Nature, in beauty,or injustice allowed after this time period. Saturn as Grim reaper will put an end to that sort of thing. We cannot evolve unless we face the truth, our inner truth and let die the old, outworn, patterns.

Just breathe. Follow the breath in and out naturally deeply slowly in through your nose into the belly out through your mouth. Say to yourself who is it who is breathing? over and over and over, Saturn brings discipline, routine, realness.

As you do this every day, you will go deeper and deeper into your Self.  Simple be aware of your ingrained old outworn karmic patterns of thought, the behaviors, the patriarchal lead weight of rules that you were indoctrinated with.

If you are in a relationship the criteria to ask is Do you each honor the other? Are you equals? Whats the balance point?

Simply ask your Higher Self, your Guardian Angels to come and oversee you, simply let go of all the excess weight you are carrying. Ideas, beliefs, emotional weight that isn’t yours, your children’s issues, your parents, the weight of history.

Do this every day, write down what you have learned at the end of each session. It’s basically a whole month of the 29th degree. Be your own interrogator, get to the truth, the truth will set you free.

It’s Mr. Obama’s 50th Birthday Aug 4, so Happy Birthday Mr. President

 

The President is going through what every 50 year old goes through. It’s called your Chiron Return.

Chiron whose symbol resembles a key, is an outer space object with a 50 year elliptical orbit. Discovered Nov. 1 1977 Chiron was, in Greek Mythology a Centaur, half immortal, rejected by his parents who became a great healer. His discovery brings to our present day consciousness the unconscious psychological symbol of being human, of being archetypal vulnerable and therefor inherently, humanly wounded.

 So where that little key is in your birth chart  shows where you are the most vulnerable, wounded but also where the greatest healing lies, for as each individual heals themselves and the greatest strength lies in being able to open the wounds, show the soft underbelly, own it, take responsibility for it, cherish it, thank it, understand it, bless it, that we may become wounded healers for others. 

And as Kurt Vonnegut would say, and so it goes.

So I send HAPPY BIRTHDAY greetings to President Obama. Lord knows we can all see the vulnerability, the wounds, he is feeling right now trying to fix a wounded U.S.A.  It’s a mighty big job.

Mr. Obama has Chiron opposite Pluto in Virgo in the 7th house of others in his Birth chart, indicating that he is a wounded healer with Big Soul, Big Power,[ Pluto}  a rebirth, around health, work, service to others. Very intelligent, that's pluto in Virgo, a perfectionist, a very hard worker, someone who always gets te job done. The Chiron return amps up his innate wounding which he felt as a child. Pisces is the most spiritual and sensitive of all the signs, with no boundaries, feeling one with everyone.

I do believe and I tell all my clients that I totally know inherently that we chose our parents, our place and time of birth before we come into this life the characteristics, which allows us the perfect opportunities for our souls to grow,learn and hopefully to complete our journeys of why we came into this life time again, this time around.

Mr. Obama came into this life already spiritual already a wounded healer with a lot of power directed out to the world at large. A Pisces Chiron is compassionate, all-inclusive, can be a martyr.Being of mixed racial background is a perfect symbol for him.

Mr. Obama's North Node or highest spiritual goal is at 27 degrees 18 minutes of Leo in his 7th house, the house of marriage or all others, his interface with the world, and conjunct to Pluto.  North Node conjunct Pluto is considered to be very powerful, very purposeful.  Becoming President with a capital P. is his fulfilling his highest destiny.

27 degrees of Leo is conjunct to a very famous Fixed Star REGULUS, the heart of the Lion. This famous star is connected to the ArchAngel Raphael the healer of the heart.  His South Node representing the Past, is at 27 degrees of Aquarius in his first house.

Neptune the planet of dreamers. chameleons, actors, addictions, illusions, delusions, Hollywood, OIL. HAs been passing over Mr. Obama's South Node and will do so again soon. He may seem tobe shifting his position, or being too idealistic. 

Venus is now in Leo and Venus will make a Superior Conjunction to the Sun on Aug 16th at 23 degrees of Leo. 

Every year the Sun is at the 23 degree on this date and co-incidentally it is the Anniversary dates of two very important festivals, gatherings, shifts in world consciousness.

 WOODSTOCK took place  on Aug 15 16 and 15 in where else?  

hundreds of thousands of young people arrived bare foot, long-haired, to tune in turn on drop out, create their own city, babies were born, musicians played as they never had before, Joni Mitchell summed it up in her famous song,

WE ARE STARDUST, WE ARE GOLDEN, AND WE’VE GOT TO GET OURSELVES BACK TO THE GARDEN

Also on Aug 16 and 17 1987 the HARMONIC CONVERGENCE

Jose Arguelles, who recently passed on, one of the co-founders of Earth day, declared these days a world-wide meditation and higher consciousness gathering and brought the Mayan calendar “end date” of Dec 21, 2012 into mass consciousness.

For these 2 days Light workers gathered at various high energy vortex power spots around the world, Mt. Shasta. Niagara Falls, Sedona Arizona etc. 

I happened  to be drawn to living in Sedona a year before there and arrived there at Spring Equinox in 1987 to find out unbeknownst to me consciously and after the fact that 10,000 people were scheduled to arrive on  these dates in a town of 7,500 people. They did. I was there on Bell Rock and the Airport Vortex doing movement meditations. It was on National News.

My point is folks, that Venus the Goddess of women, beauty, love, harmony, balance the Arts is going to Kanoodle with the Sun on this very same date bringing the point that as in the Harry Potter Deathly Hallow’s part 1 – the Golden snitch says “I OPEN AT THE CLOSE.” cryptic words those.

So we are back to where we began this little story, Venus, the Sun , Leo, The President, Golden Girls- Marilyn Monroe, Happy 50th, anniversaries.  

The Ancients called the convergence of Venus with the Sun “CAZIMI” meaning under the Sun’s beams, burnt out, disappeared, and evil.

As a symbol of what these dates have symbolized to the collective consciousness and to have this important rendezvous now means:

Now we don’t live in fear, but in insight from our hearts, the place that LEO rules. So throw open the gates of your heart, 

Love  loud and proud, not vaingloriously but un- egotistically.  Venus disappearing, being swallowed up by the Sun,

means she is entering a Golden Palace, a Heaven world, and we as the microcosmic mirror of the Marcocosm. “AS ABOVE< SO BELOW>”

as She is dying to Herself to rise like the Phoenix from the ashes of her own immolation,

out of compete unselfish Love for the Sun, the Source of all Light and Life, to have her ego/self extinguished.

 Venus will then no longer be visible as the morning star [ DAWN STAR} where she has risen so beautifully at night in the East,

she will go to the Underworld, the night Sea journey, to the dark side of the SUN, to be reborn many months from now.

And we must go with Her whether consciously or Unconsciously.

The Lust and speculation over Gold as security in a changing worldscape is a projection of our need for what Gold holds and trasmits, what it symbolizes.  the Light of the Sun, our very Selves, our Golden Self, our Spirits, our Souls,. shining Lights, Stars. 

.The symbol # 17 in the Tarot, The Star symbol of Aquarius and you remember that song, from another famous ‘60’s musical icon don’t you?

This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, the Age of Aquarius.  

We are Stardust, We are Golden, and we've got to get ourselves back to the Garden. Thank You Joni Mitchell for so eloquently tuning into the cosmic vibe of Eternity.

And as for Mr. Obama the Venus Sun conjunction occurs in his 7th house, on his Uranus, planet of REVOLUTION in-between that planet and LILLITH, at 20 degrees of Leo very near to his Descendant.

LILLITH the archetypal first woman proceeding EVE. Didya read that story in the Bible? Not just a women's songfest. LILLITH was the first woman, She was the original "I am woman hear me roar. " She refused to allow Adam to dominate her sexually, like an animal. Pointing out rightly so, that G*d had created Her and Him EQUAL, of the earth, so what the heck was he thinking?

He wasn't obviously, he was Unconscious. So Lillith took off and flew the coop and she left Eden. Yep that's right, she flew right outa there and went to reside by the Red Sea. Ok. Long story short. She refuses to compromise in any way and is demonized by the Patriarchs who were trying to re-write HIStory from He point of view, when everyone knows deep down in their cellular memories that it was and is and always shall be SHEstory.

That is a Matriarchal comprehension of the Universe, self-evident, common sensicle. So Adam is in the Garden and asks God to make him a mate. So G* d creates Eve to be the perfect Lord it over the women prototype and women are blamed, defamed, and eternally damned in this historical rewrite.

 

So what does that mean? Well I believe the Women will revolt and take back their power!!!!!!!!!!!! I am woman hear me roar!!! Venus in Leo, conjunct the Sun. Which is ungoldenly the Ego, vanity, greed, fear and in the Light, and spiritually the divine essence, the spirit itself, rising again as Divine Love.

So guys ya better start workin on getting nice to your own inner female side, yah you. You got one too. Everyone does. Ya'all never be alone ya know.

I know many of you wish they would just up and elope!  In between this weeks’ non news about Japan‘s Nuclear slow leak,Gadaffi  about to be offed by NATo, the Great Escape of the Al Qaeda former prisoners, were they watching Steve McQueen and Alec Guiness for lessons all this time?

 Lets look at the birth charts and combined chart of what may be the Future King and Queen of England?

Lets get down to it then. First we look at Prince William’s birth chart. shown above and the transitting planets on the Big wedding day

Firstly: Prince William was born on June 21, 1982 on the Summer Solstice and a SOLAR ECLIPSE !

Eclipse’s are numbered in cycles called Saros Cycles, they can last thousands of years. The Prince was born under Saros cycle 117 also called 2 Old North which began in 792 A.D. around the time the first recognized English King, Egbert, was crowned. William was born during the 1189th year of that cycle. That Saros cycle is due to end in 2054 AD when William will be 72. Perhaps that will signify the end of the Monarchy. He will be the last King.

Prince William’s life, like his Mother Diana’s and his father Prince Charles’ is heavily under the influence of dramatic changes and timing of events as these eclipses re-occur every 18-19 years on or within 1 or 2 degrees of his Natal Sun.

Prince William has seen this already in the Solar eclipse on his 19th birthday, the Saros cycle 127; when he met Kate at St. Andrew’s College in 2001. The total lunar eclipse at 29º Gemini on December 21 2010 also affected his life n that it fell opposite his Ascendant which shows a new emotional beginning in the Prince’s life, a woman’s influence with a Lunar eclipse, and marriage, it happens right on the 7^th house of marriage cusp, and being a fascination a North Star and much publicity generating millions of words and communiqués at the last degrees of Gemini.

William is very much his Mother’s son and they share a lot of similarities in their natal charts.  Yes he does look like the spitting image of his glamorous very tall mother. They both share the same Ascendant Sagittarius. That also explains prince William’s large Horsy teeth, Your Ascendant or persona, or mask does resemble the Astrology sign its’ associated with.  Sagittarians tend to be tall and long legged and of course love horses, sport, easygoing.

They are both very emotional sensitive, protective, home loving; Cancerian’s who need lots so emotional security. Women love Cancerian men, because they are emotionally tuned into the Feminine wavelength. Having children is an important element in Prince William’s future. They both have their Sun’s in the 7^th house. The 7^th house is the house of marriage traditionally, and also the interface with all others in business and the world at large. So other people are your emotional focus with the Cancer sun here and as with Diana people feel the love, and are very attracted to that mothering nurturing energy. In a man it comes across as protracting the hearth, the mother and children, A very good thing to have for a future king to have, William will be very popular always. 

William and Diana also both share their Venus, planet of love, beauty, relationships, harmony, the arts, luxury, romance in Taurus where Venus rules in the 5^th house of Giving love and children! Venus in Taurus is earthy, sensual, and down to earth, gives beauty, charm, and good for singer and public speakers, is wealthy. Can be vain, stubborn and loyal. The Prince will definitely be a loyal devoted dad and want a good-sized family. But will Kate?

The Prince’s chart shows the Sun at 0º06’ Cancer and the Moon at 4º58’ Cancer. The Moon represents in everyone’s chart your Mother, your feelings and instincts, the Unconscious memories relating to the womb and the maternal feminine psychic energy.  In the Sabian symbols, symbols for 360 degrees of the Zodiac. Prince William’s Moon is conjunct symbol number 95, for the 5th degrees of Cancer. The symbol depicts “An automobile wrecked by a train.” Chillingly accurate for his Mother’s death in a car crash wrecked by a train of paparazzi chasing her.

Diana’s Venus at 24 degrees of Taurus is conjunct the Fixed Star Algol which has very bad negative associations with in this case love. William’s Venus is only 1 degree after hers. He will be vary wary in love, trust is a major issue. That is why he has only dated one woman.

PRINCE WILLIAM IS A TRUE BLUE BLOOD

Prince William Natal chart is SO ROYAL it is definitely a chart fit for a King, with Jupiter conjunct Pluto at the top of his chart, at the M.C. he has a powerful Jupiter planet of Royalty at zero degrees of Scorpio Retrograde conjunct his Pluto at 24 degrees of Libra also retrograde. In some senses this combination rules A BIG SECRET, to do with the Prince’s place of power and prestige in the world, with Scorpio it’s nature is all about power, espionage, death, transformation, the underworld. I shall say no more.

William’s Saturn is also in Libra at the 15^th degree and Mars in Libra at 9 degrees. The Saturn Pluto conjunction usually all in Libra is the hallmark signature of the Pluto in Libra generation more intensified in 1982-83. Searching for balanced equal partner relationships is what this is all about. Its is Karmic balance the books time for men and women. Princess Diana’s Midheaven was at 23º Libra. She had Venus dignified in Taurus in the 5th of children and by Whole Sign houses, and then Venus is in the 6^th house of work too. Venus rules Libra also and this points out how having a son, a royal heir was part of her royal job description.

Prince William’s Pluto, power, control, secrets, the Soul is at 24 degrees of Libra.  Kate’s Saturn, planet of karma, responsibility, patriarchy, obligations, and maturity is exactly on Prince William’s Pluto. She is ambitious for shared power. This is a serious karmic configuration.

Prince William’s Libra planets are up in the 9^th house of philosophy, the law, the military, religion, travelling, and teaching. He also has the planet Neptune also retrograde in the 12^th house, which Neptune naturally rules as the planetary ruler of Pisces and all 12^th house secrets. Neptune is considered to be on his Ascendant, which is at 27 degrees of Sagittarius, exactly conjunct to the Galactic center, that huge blckhole at the centre of the Galaxy. Yes it is true the Prince’s persona does draw to him everything else in the Galaxy. Neptune is the planet of metaphysics, mysticisms, dreams, intuition, delusion, illusions, glamour, and higher love, addictions. With Neptune conjunct the Galactic Center Prince William is a super magnet for everyone’s projections, He is very intuitive, interested in lofty pursuits, higher law, justice, sportsmanship, humour, easy going, very romantic.

He also has LILLITH at Zero degrees of Capricorn. Lillith represents the Dark Feminine, independent, unwilling to compromise. She represents men’s greatest fear of being rejected by the Feminine.  Lillith represent the dark Feminine power to fascinate, unconsciously, this is a very powerful place for Lillith to be. Directly opposite the Prince’s Sun and on the world’s point too!

FUTURE KING DEFENDER OF THE DIVINE FEMININE ENERGY!

William’s deepest Soul purpose his greatest dream is to revile the feminine, the rejected Goddess, the wounded feminine, his Mother in particular. All over his chart he carries the marks of a deeply wounded deeply attached Mother’s son. His Venus at 25 degrees of Taurus is exactly conjunct Chiron the Wounded healer. We have seen this Blue blood subjected to the worst tragedy the sudden loss of his very loving mother at a very young age, 15.

Prince William’s North Node, or highest spiritual goal is at 13 degrees of Cancer in his 7^th house. The 13 th degree is exactly conjunct the Fixed Star Sirius. The star is considered to be of more divine significance than the 4 royal Stars. Known as Osiris to the Ancient Egyptians It is considered to be the Center of the Universe and shows immense talents in any field. It is the degree of the United States Sun who made its Independence Day on July 4^th for to conjunct its Sun with this Star.

The South Node, Not shown is always exactly opposite the north and shows, past life influence or the family story. At 13 degrees of Capricorn the South Node falls in his 1^st house of Self. He has come from rigid, all business, power striving, selfish cold, influence of History, the Patriarchy, the father. Saturn rules the sign of Capricorn and it represents the father, history, doing the right thing, following orders, doing what is expedient for the sake of the family business. In this case the Royal House of Windsor. The Prince’s highest goal is to turn away from that very cold, ruthless influence and give love, nurturing protection, and unconditional love to all he comes in contact with but especially in marriage.

They split up temporarily in 2007 as Prince William was undergoing massive emotional changes underground in the past two years as transiting Pluto opposed his Sun and Moon. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to find out in future years that the Prince went into therapy to deal with a lot of unconscious wounds around both his Mother and Father who are so so pronounced in his life. 

 

KATE’S chart

Now lets get to the lovely Kate Middleton born six months before the Prince on January 9, 1982 is ALSO BORN ON AN ECLIPSE –

A Full Moon and a total Lunar eclipse which was exactly at 19º16’ Capricorn /Cancer.  As a Capricorn she is earthy, responsible, very conservative, ambitious for power, and patient, which we have seen, her waiting 10 years for her Prince.

Born on a Full Moon she has two sides to her, the Capricorn Sun shining in the world, and her Moon opposite in Cancer extremely private. She is an extremely ambitious Capricorn, made the more so in that her Capricorn Sun is squared by Pluto, planet of power, control, secrets, sexuality, and by Saturn ruling planet of Capricorn and Mars too  in Libra. This woman has indomitable will to get what she wants. She wants a Libran Fare man.

No one has an accurate birth time for her so we don’t know what her ascendant is. She looks rather Libran to me but she has all those Libra planets..

Her SUN at 18 degrees of Capricorn, conjuncts the Prince’s South Node. She provides for him warmth, security a sense of strength and power for the Prince’s felts sense of a fractured over administered childhood. 

Her MOON is at 14 degrees of Cancer in her 3^rd house of communications but right on her IC of her most private part of her chart. This axis, the 4^th house IC is her roots, home, mother, privacy, and emotional needs. Kate’s Moon is conjunct to the Prince’s North Node. She symbolizes and feels to him like, his highest emotional goals and needs met. She is very traditionally feminine, and very private, needs emotional security too, and will definitely want children. Moon in Cancer is fertile. Her North Node is also in Cancer. And also falls in Williams 7^th house of marriage. So we see a dual symbol of the tying the knot in each other’s chart’s is extremely karmic.
Kate has VENUS at 7 degrees retrograde conjunct Mercury at 5 degrees in Aquarius. Venus in Aquarius and Mercury in Aquarius makes Kate an intellectual, a very unique individual who values freedom .She is a humanitarian, and the Royals will not make her feel any less worth being a commoner. In fact this is her raison d’etre is to be the one who creates equality between ordinary people and royalty. Emotionally she can be very cool and detached. Princess Diana also had Jupiter at 5 degree of Aquarius and her moon at 25 degrees Aquarius.  Venus Retrograde is also a karmic sign, I came back to meet my lover again and finish up old business.

They have a very sexual intense passionate relationship, Mars connected, Pluto’s, Jupiter’s. There is also a lovely Grand Trine in their shared charts of Mars, Venus and Chiron. It is a sexual healing relationship. They also share the same successes and strengths. A true power couple in all senses of the word.

St. Patrick, Catholic Irish Saint,is known for driving the snakes out of Ireland. That story  is actually a cultural re-visioning. St. Patrick, identified with the shamrock, was no Saint and not lucky at all for the pagans who worshipped the Goddess. Ireland since time out of mind was a pagan, Wiccan, Druid, Nature, Goddess worshipping land. These people were demonized and ripped off by St. Paddy. 

St. Paddy is NOT Irish. Born in Scotland  to Roman parents around 387 AD.  Taken prisoner at 14, he was sent to Ireland as a slave. He studied the language and learned the customs of the people, original Nature loving, pantheistic earth worshippers. 

As the story goes, Patrick prayed to God. He had a dream he was to leave Ireland but the Irish people were calling him back. He studied to be a priest. He became a Bishop and was sent back to Ireland to teach the Gospel. He arrived at Slane on March 25, 433. Patrick converted many thousands of people including Irish Kings who were moved {or threatened} upon hearing Patrick’s message. He himself had many disciples who were all later canonized. He preached for over 40 years, apparently worked many miracles, and wrote of his love for God in his confessions. He lived in poverty, travelled and endured much suffering and died March 17, 461 AD. at Saul, where he had built his first church. It’s 1,550 years since he died. 

THE SHAMROCK

Patrick used the shamrock, as the symbol of the holy Trinity. The SHAMrock or clover {note the sham pun in shamrock, puns are always give a ways} is originally an ancient PAGAN SYMBOL of the GODDESS, the original Holy TRINITY, the TRIPLE GODDESS, whose phases we see as the Moon waxing and waning.  

The Triple Goddess, like the Roman God Janus, who was also an overlay of the original Goddess worshipping religions, represents the past present and future. Christianity like Hinduism, Judaism, Islam always incorporated former religions but then skews the original meaning, usually inferring the opposite.

St. Patrick was famous for driving the snakes out of Ireland, meaning he drove the pagans out/converted them. The snake is a euphemism; the snakes symbolize the Goddess, rebirth, sexuality, eternity, and wisdom. Snakes were always her honoured symbol. In the re-writing of the Goddess history, the propaganda popularly known as the Bible, tells how in Genesis, the snake was turned into evil and Eve made to be seen as wicked, the original sinner, forever dooming women to hardship in birth, and never able to repent.

It  was of course built on the foundations of Judaism and the old testament which was the historical very violent story of the crushing of the Goddess religion, the defamation of the Feminine.

Everything the Goddess stood for, love of Nature, the Feminine relating principles, honouring life, children, sexuality etc. was made bad, indecent, devil worship by the Catholic Church and the Bible.

Christians thank him the conversion of the ancient Irish pagans. But in the name of Christ who tolerated all peoples, honoured women and preached love of thy neighbour, pagans especially women,who were labelled witches and -worshippers,were tortured to convert, and had their properties and rank stolen from them.

 To some Pagans, wiccans, druids, Goddess worshippers St. Patrick is a despised person who drove the Irish people from their original faith.  Some Wiccans may actually enjoy the celebration because of its “hidden” Pagan meaning, and smile when they see devout Christians wearing the shamrock, the Goddess’symbol proudly.

As in the Mists of Avalon, the re-telling of the Arthurian and Grail legends from the original Pagan Goddess worshipping aspect, the Goddess in any name is still Her energy. Goddess worship is earth honouring, egalitarian, matriarchal. 

Just as the white people carry a collective karmic debt and shame for destroying Indigenous peoples earth worshipping religion and cultures. In Canada,there is now a token giving back, as in the Queen Charlotte Island being renamed in their indigenous tongue and land treaties give native people back the lands and bones or historical relics taken in colonialized plunder, as in Egypt and China that were stolen from them. 

Perhaps we should rethink St. Patrick when we’re out in the pub drinking green beer, wearing shamrocks, and singing When Irish Eyes Are Smilin’ and Oh Danny Boy and at least toast THE GODDESS. Because as She says: “All acts of love and beauty are my worship.” 

And speaking of Ireland. The name Tara, popularly connected to the Hills of Tara, and the Kings of Tara is originally a Goddess name. Tara, whose ancient worship continues today,She is still worshipped daily in India and Tibet.  Green Tara whose name is originally SITARA, means the Stars. Therefore she is just like the Egyptian Goddess of the sky, where all life originated, the goddess Nut, or Nuit, aka the Milky Way Galaxy. Hey we don’t call it a Guyaxy. 

Sitara, her name means the Galaxy, all that is, She is the original creatress, Mother Nature. The Sitar is her heavenly music, the music of the cosmos. Her worship is so ancient and widespread it ran from India all the way to Ireland.

In English Tara =Terra in Latin meaning The EARTH. Eartha or Artha in Sanskrit means the Earth. All the names have an etymological root from Sanskrit considered to be a holy language. So in India and Tibet the mantra, the prayers for Tara invoke her vibration, as chanting OHM is considered to be the original word of God. Tara actually has 21 different manifestations, colours and dances representing her powers.  Green Tara is Mother Nature.

We are all Her children. We are but little specs, like ants upon her bosom, see how fragile we truly are when Mother Nature shakes us about, she is showing us who is boss she’s giving us humans a time out for acting badly to her.

We need to move out of unconsciousness into empowerment and enlightenment, this is it. Your body hold the magick. You need to free yourself til you can laugh at how ridiculous it is to believe that your sacred body and its natural flow could be anything but sacred and holy.

If you are a woman who still bleeds, save your blessed menstrual blood in a non-toxic pad or cup and pour some onto the earth or in a body of water with a prayer of powerful intention to heal mother earth NOW. This will greatly benefit the earth and all her relations.

Especially at this very powerful u[coming Super Moon on March 19 when the full Moon will be closest to the Earth in 20 years, if you are bleeding then use that time especially. Anytime and always is the best time. Give back to Mother earth that which She has given you. This is ancient pagan wiccan ceremonial magick. It is very powerful menstrual blood,  that is why there was all the taboos about women bleeding.

Feb. 1st –2nd IMBOLC Traditional Irish and Pagan Holiday Celebrations

 

 

 

Traditionally what we modern Westerners know as Groundhog Day was and is, on Feb 1st or 2nd is celebrated in the Modern Irish Calendar as Saint Brigid’s Day,or Bride’s Day. Both a Catholic and an ancient Pagan Celebration,an ancient Goddess tradition, also called Imbolc, still celebrated by Wiccans/Pagan based Earth honouring religions. Christians overlaid the Ancient Goddess worshipers’ holiday renaming it Candlemas or the fest of the Purification of the Virgin. This celebration also relates to the midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.

It is a “cross-quarter” day in the 8 rounds of the Wheel of Time in the Solar based year. Since the Celtic Year was based on both lunar and solar cycles, it is most likely the holiday would be celebrated on the Full Moon nearest those 2 midpoints, when early spring flowers would begin to rise up through the snow, and snakes would come out of the ground. This is the precursor of the Groundhog, which the Romans replaced with a Hedgehog, which we… On Feb. 2nd this year there is a NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS at 12:45 am EST.
That Ancient peoples of Ireland kept this day as very sacred. At the Megalithic and Neolithic sites, such as the Loughcrew burial mounds and the Mound of the Hostages in Tara, Ireland, the inner chambers of the passage tombs are perfectly aligned with the rising sun of both Imbolc and Samhain attesting to the value placed on this day.

Triple Goddess/Saint Brigid/Bride

She is according to Robert Graves, the most Ancient Triple Goddess worshipped since time out of mind. The Goddess rules over scholars and poets. She is the Goddess of fire and inspirations in Ireland, the Goddess of poetry, creativity, smithcraft and healing. She also rules healing with water, and divination. She is said to rule over people who work with cows and chickens, brewers, fugitives, midwives, infants, printers, sailors, travelers, New Zealand, & Irish nuns. This day symbolizes a time of transitions, initiations, new beginnings, of planting seeds that will sprout later. Brigid/Birgita represents the light half of the year,Her power brings the people out of the dark season of winter into spring, so, it is a very important time of the year.

She is the Goddess of Augury

In the Druidic tradition, poetry and augury were associated. She is patron of prophets and seers.

Celtic seers divined by looking into deep water and into flames. This is a great time to do divination. STare at a candle, a fireplace with conscious intention. Call upon Brigid to come to you.

Triple Goddess

She has two sisters with the same name. One aspect of her carries a blacksmith tongs and a sword, because she is also patroness of war; another aspect holds 2 healing snakes, from which the modern Doctor’s symbol is derived, the caduceus, the third aspect carries a wand with a crescent moon and a tablet.

Elements

Brigid rules the Waters. Many healing springs are dedicated to Brigid. Natural bodies of water also signify Her presence, particularly where three streams joined together. She also rules Fire, so it is customary to make candles for the coming year and bless them on this day.

Protecting Goddess

In her aspect as Brigantia, she carries a spear, an orb of victory, and wears a war crown. She symbolizes protection of the country from invaders and slavery.

Midwives

As Patroness of Midwives, she was invoked at the door of the home where the woman was giving birth, by the midwife. Who speke:

Bride, Bride, come in! Thy welcome is truly made, Give thou relief to the woman, And give thou the conception to the Trinity.

Brigid is the guardian of every newborn, their cradles protected with a woven Brigit’s Cross, an equal armed cross. Upon a safe delivery, the infant was blessed or “sained” by the midwife, with 3 drops of water on the child’s forehead, dedicating the Child to the Triple Goddess. The “Holy Trinity” in its modernized Christian aspect, was just an overlay of the Goddess Triple Aspect since time out of memory. A candle was carried ‘round the bed sun wise three times. As Brigid is a Solar Goddess. We think of the Sun as masculine but originally all aspects of the Universe were considered Feminine.

Brigid Ruler of the Hearth

Especially in Gaelic Scotland, Brigid’s dolls are placed near the hearth on her Feast Day. The doll is usually dressed in white, decorated. A white wand is placed in her bed as a fertility charm. As she is patroness of agriculture, pastures, livestock, and abundance. An offering is made to her of dairy products. The Brigid doll is kept throughout the year near the hearth hung on a wall, or by a door, as a talisman of protection, then burnt the next year.

One folk tradition still continues in both Christian and Pagan homes on St. Brigid’s Day is that of St. Brigid’s Bed. Girls and young unmarried women create corn dollies to represent Brigid, these are adorned with ribbons, baubles shells or stones. A bed is made for the doll to lie in. On St. Brigid’s Eve Jan 31, the girls gather together in one house and stay up all night with the doll, are are later visited by all the young men, who ask permission to enter the home, and then treat the young maidens and the dolly with respect. The next day the girls carry the doll through the neighbourhood from house to house, where she is welcomed with great honour. Adult women stay home to welcome the Brigid procession and offer snacks and coins to the young girls and maidens.

Brigid is said to walk the earth on Imbolc eve. Feb 1st. Before going to bed, each member of the household may leave a piece of clothing or strip of fabric outside for Brigid to bless. The cloth are brought inside the next morning, believed to now have the powers of healing and protection.

BRIGID is alive and well.

The name “Britain” is a derivation of Brigit’s name. Britain was named for an ancient Celtic tribe, the Brigantes, who were the largest Celtic tribe in the country in pre-Roman times who worshipped Her as their Deity. The tribe originated from an area now called Bregenz in Austria near Lake Constance. The word “brigand” comes from this tribe of fierce warriors. Her symbol is a flaming spear. Her worship spread, leaving behind places named in Her honour-Brittany in France, Brechin in Scotland, the name Brent, in England, any name containing Bride. Britain’s symbol, the Goddess Brigantia, still found on their 50 cent coin is Brigid in her aspect as Goddess of the Land. In Old German/Yiddish the word “Fabrent” meaning burnt honours this Ancient Goddess. Of course Britany Spears is carrying the modern archetype of Brigid, and strangely enough one of Brigid’s symbols is a flaming spear!

Reflecting on these past two weeks:  Energies felt very fast up and busy up till Halloween. Since then the energies have been feeling very odd to me the last 2 weeks. As if it’s too busy yet moving through molasses at the same time. I felt a big high-energy shift last Friday on the 12^th which then sink into feeling incredibly exhausted. My confreres agreed to the same feelings. I said well the planets Jupiter and Venus are almost at a total slowdown for the past few days, we’re feeling that pressure.

Nov. 18 Venus, Goddess of sex, romance, love and Money and Jupiter, doing it big and taking risks both turn direct motion today! Jupiter, aka Yahweh, Zeus, the big windbag and my fave planet, being both Sagittarius and Pisces’ ruler, the planet of optimism humour, largess, truth, justices, travelling, philosophy and religion has been Retrograde since July 23 at 3 degrees 24 minutes of Aries. Now that was one long big winded Jupiterian opening sentence.  If you’re a Sagittarian {and a Piscean} we can call ourselves Jupiterish.

So think back to those 40 degree Celsius days in late July, where you were at back then has been being reviewed these past almost 4 months.

So that the Moon will be under Venus’s ruler ship. This doubly strengthens Venus’s power over the Moon’s ruling of the feelings and unconscious!

The Moon Trines Pluto at 12:33 pm EDT a very big powerful beneficial aspect,  and stays with this aspect until Nov 20^th @ 6:47 am so one has all afternoon and all night to do the ritual.

JUPITER attributes in magik

We want to gather as many symbols, attributes, similarities to both Planets energies, mainly focussing on Venus here. Jupiter’s colour are purple and his metal is tin; amethyst, topaz, emeralds his jewels. Oregano, nutmeg some oh his spices; olive, ivy, ash his trees; lungwort, balsam, borage his herbs and pomegranates are his fruits.

 In Feng Shui tradition one would get 5 red envelopes, as 5 is Venus’s number and fill them with 5 silver coins, as Silver is Venus’s metal. I would bless and consecrate and empower the envelopes and coins during the ceremony. Have a green candle or candles for attracting money.

 A money oil recipe:

4 pts Frankinsence, 1 pt Heliotrope,½ pt Bay , 1 pt Orange,

½ pt Cinnamon or Cassia,  2 pts Sandalwood {optional}

Use this oil to anoint green candles in any ritual to bring wealth into your home.

Wear green or Blue for Love abundance.

Use a lovely living round leaved green plant.  Some copper coins, silver objects, can be jewellery, gold, amethyst and a $20 bill up to a $100 bill. The largest amount you can get. . Bring into your circle anything, which represents the abundance you want to call in. Not just money, but expansion, travels which Jupiter rules. If for love bring in pictures or things that symbolize the love you wish to receive. But remember to affirm that you already have it!

Get centred. Smudge before doing any ritual to consecrate sacred space. Incense of pure quality will do. Rose, Frankincense are good for Venus.  Breath relaxes, ground.  Put on some nice pleasant relaxing meditation music.

After you’ve anointed yourself and your candles with the oils, Light your green candle.  With a crystal wand or a consecrated knife as a wand, or a magical wand if you have one, create and delineate a sacred space around you into which all your ritual objects are located. From the center Call in the 4 directions starting in the East and moving clock-wise.

Put the amethyst crystal on the money to energize it. Everything is intention. The more power you can bring in, the more the spell works. The planets help focus the energies.

Go slowly. Your intention is to give thanks for the incredible abundance of wealth, health, and love in your life. Say this with happy energy, with fullness in you, even if you’re dirt-poor broke; act as if you have just won a lottery. This attracts that which you desire to you. Always affirm that you already have that which you desire because in truth you already do have all that you desire by sacred law.

NOVEMBER 11th is marked as Remembrance Day for fallen soldiers in two world wars. Memorial wreaths are laid at monuments and a minute of silence is observed at 11:11 IN THE FALLEN DEAD’S HONOR.  Since I was a child Remembrance Day, marked by the wearing of a red poppy on a lapel signified the remembering and honouring of the shed blood of those who gave their lives in Battles and the poppiesof flander’s Fields from the first world war. The Number 11 is a visual represenation of a gateway, a portal. It is the number of Duality 1 + 1. It is yin/yang.  It symbolizes all beginnings, the birth canal, and the twin pillars of Solomon at his sacred temple.  we’ll pick up the twin towers symbolism later. Catch my drift?

In the Tarot the number 11 symbol is seen on the Tarot Trump # 2 which is at the root of 11 as the twin pillars – called Joachim and Boaz.  the twin pillars of 11 are the Twin Pillars on the Tree of Life, the outside pillars of Mercy or Severity.

 The KABALAH AND NUMBER 11

In the Kabbalistic Tarot,the 11th Key is called JUSTICE, or Sacred Law, which is Karma and the planet Saturn, symbolized by the Twin scales of Justice, originally the Scales of Ma’at from Ancient Egyptian times and which we still use as the modern symbol of the Law.

In the Kabbalah Justice # 11 is on the 22nd path of the Tree.

#22 is a Higher Vibration of 11.

11 is Justice also number 8 all Karmic

 

On the Tree of Life in the Kabbakah, the 11th Path, the one emanating from the Crown Chakra at the very top of the Tree of Life is the path of the Fool. Which is Zero- naught and the number 22 combined. The end and the beginning ,all contained in One. So there you have it! We are the end and the beginning.

Seeing 11:11 is an activation, a GENTLE ANGELIC prod, a quickening of your consciousness, it is an alarm bell waking you up to re- member, to put your Self back together, to wake up out of forgetfulness and sleep to your true Higher Self.

11:11 is made up of Four 1’s. In the Tarot the # 1 card is the Magician. The Magician emanates from the crown chakra at the Top of the Sephirot on the Tree of Life as a paired opposite to the Fool.

The Magician is symbolized by the planet Mercury which is Consciousness, awareness, the Mind, communication Itself.

The conscious awareness of seeing 11:11 helps us to realize that an  invisible force, angels, archetypal symbols are silent helpers in our midst lighting out way.

 Solara claims that a great doorway opened on January  11, 1992 and it only allows ONE being through it. We have to become the ONE. Remember in the first MAtrix film where  the oracle asks Neo are you the one?

It is the same question that the hookah smoking caterpillar asks alice in the wonderland. It’s all the same question. There is really only one question. ONE ANSWER. We must all become ONE to go through the doorway which has been open for the last 18 years, only opens once and is destined to close on Nov. 11 2011, which will read as 11:11: 2011 All variations on 11. it is the max 11.

This date also co-incides very closely with Dr. Caleman’s “end date” of the Mayan calendar in Oct 28, 2011 NOT the John Major Jenkins “end date” or the Terrence McKenna or Jose Arguelles “end date” popularized as being on Dec 21, 2012..

 So everytime you see 11:11 OR 12:12, 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55 am or pm REMEMBER it is a Wake up call!

Stop and Pay Attention!  Breath, slow down, ask your Higher Self, Your Guardian Angels for what it is you’re supposed to remember. Be present in the NOW.

 The Astrology the Heavens Above of this 11:11

Astrologically with Justice the Tarot Trump # 11 {sometimes  interchanged with number 8, which also signifies INFINITY, KARMA}. All the symbols infer the same meanings.

The Justice card is the symbol of the Sign of LIBRA. Saturn, which symbolizes Karma is in Libra right now, where it is considered to be exalted. Acting at Saturnine best behaviour as it were. Saturn was involved in the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers on 9/11. Saturn, Lord of Karma was in the Sign of Gemini at the time, the twin sign.

Venus has just re-entered Libra the Sign she rules on the 7th of Nov. {7/11}  Venus is in Retrograde motion now till Nov. 18th. Venus is another symbol of the High Pirestess, as the Goddess in libra she is exceptionally all about Love, Beauty Harmony, the Arts.

VENUS has just risen from her Journey through the Underworld and is visible again as the Morning star since Nov. 4th. Venus is also known as Inanna the Ancient Sumerian Great Goddess.

 We are now phasing in Synch with her Re- risen Phoenix like. Venus is visible in the East at dawn shining so beautifully, and Jupiter King of the Gods is visible in the West in the evening. Jupiter is considered to be Dignified in the sign he co-rules, Pisces. Jupiter is also Retrograde till the 18th. Both planets turn DIRECT WITHIN 5 hours of each other on that date.

So I’m intuiting a sense that since this is the second to Last 11:11 gateway opening before the door shuts And the fact that the Mayan calendar is now in It’s the 7th and Last day – see previous article on Scorpio  New Moon  in November.  This 11:11 remembrance really COUNTS! Our consciousness on this 11:11 really needs to expand to the Heights.

The planets Venus and Jupiter are two very big lights in our local skies.They mark one of two pillars, part of the 11:11 symbolism. Venus in Libra is Love Beauty, Harmony Relationship Jupiter in Pisces is Spiritual expansion, Truth, Inspiration, knowledge, Compassion, ONENESS.

The two planets are synchronistically reflecting our state of evolutionary consciousness Being Retrograde on this particular 11:11 celebration they give us the opportunity to Really RE- member what our essential ONENES is.

Venus lights our daylight cocnsciousness in Libran harmony and balance. so, in the morning when you meditate at 11:11 breathe in Venusian Feminine Goddess Unconditional Love Energy.

In the evening at 11:11 pm call in Jupiter’ in Pisces expansive, truth seeking, inspiring Energy of humour, good-fellowship, forgiveness, compassion, Bliss, endings, karma, Oneness.

MEDITATION for 11:11

Before 11:11 am prepare yourself to ReMember. Get comfortable wherever you are. It is good to purify your aura using smudge, a Native American cleansing natural herbal combo of dried cedar, sage, sweetgrass which is lit and the smoke brushed over your chakras. It is very powerful and effective. Any Natural incense will do the same thing. use your intent. Have your feet flat on the ground and your hands in your lap. Make mudras by putting your first finger and thumb together, this creates a closed energy circuit channel. 

Close your eyes. Put your attention on your third eye, just above the center point of your eyebrows and also towards the inside of the head at the pineal gland, the visoneering gland and to your crown chakra simultaneously. Being two places at once.

11:11 am  Meditation

In  the daylight consciousness time we are tuning into the Feminine. Simply ask to remember who you really are. Consciously bring in the energy of Venus, the Feminine energy. Simply ask to feel Her Unconditional Love for you and for all beings.  Breathe through your Nose and hold for 2 seconds and release through your mouth. Do this 11 times. Breathe and stay with that for 11 minutes if you can. 22 minutes or multiples double numbers ofr as much time as you have.

11:11 pm  NIGHT TIME MEDITATION

At night at 11:11 when the 2nd round of meditation is about to occur prepare yourself again in the same way.  This time at night, the feminine time of the day we are bringing in masculine active oriented energies of Jupiter.  Again ask to remember your God self. Ask to find and rememember your Truth, Your Higher Self, True Oneness. And don’t forget to remember to ask how to laugh again at yourself and all the foibles of this world. Humour is the height of Healing.

By doing a two-fold balancing act of the Masculine and the Feminine at this time I feel this is essential to create Oneness and embody the 11:11 in all its; polarity.
