John Edward’s Trial, “was obsessed with mistress’s life of sex and astrology”-why? by Tara greene

The news today May 3  in the Trial of John Edwards, scandals of Bunny Mellon supporting him and his s mistress, Edwards’ daughter speaking of his mistress obsession with sex, rock ‘n roll, and astrology!  Rielle, described by Andrew Young, former Edwards staffer who’s tell -all book described Rielle as  a “weird slut and a freak.”  An actress, she was  the basis of  a character in a Jay McInerney novel,and  Bret Easton Ellis based characters on her as well. Molly Ringwald also in the mix. Rumors of coke snorting, threesome  and sexually voracious stories about Rielle abound. And yeah her father James Druck, a wealthy lawyer, in was involved in the 1982 horse murders insurance fraud scandal, which including electrocuting Rielle’s own horse when she was just 17 years old. They shoot Horses’ Don’t they? – a real trauma in her life. That explains a lot to me right there.

The sex and drugs stuff is pretty usual but not  being astrology obsessed piqued my curiosity.. I wanted to check out Rielle’s astrology chart for clues as to why she would be so astrological coke and sex addicted.

Rielle was born March 20 1964 Fort Lauderdale florida, No birth time. so Ive created it at noon, as she is  a prominent public figure. Zero degrees Aries is the highest energy, the beginning, the zero point in the Astrology chart. she is a mover and a shaker.

Wow a very big week ahead. The battle begins as the planets display the old and famously true maxim “as above so below” philosophy on Sunday March 4.  It’s a battle between Saturn, which is the Conservatives, the old guard, the religious right, Bible thumpers,Mr. Sanctity himself, {I believe Ron Paul is the only GOP who isn’t an arch misogynist}  correct me if I’m wrong}, {moving out of the last “critical” 29th degree of Libra, but still retrograde for many months}, vs VENUS, the women, in Aries,with Venus at the last ‘critical” degree of Aries as well. Venus in Aries is symbolized by the Amazon warrior-ess herself, so women’s liberation most definitely will come up in this election campaign.

I have to admit I am a long time Feminist, and am absolutely unconditionally a supporter of women’s rights, beyond and man-made law’s to have her intrinsic right as a human consciousness to do with her body mind spirit, sexuality exactly what she wants, when how where anytime, always.

The Saturn/Venus opposition here is very telling because it will be the kiss of death for any Republican running for Pres.later this year if too conservative Bible thumping anti-abortion etc.

He’s a Pisces with Mercury {Retrograde} and Mars also in Pisces. Saturn { Retrograde} conjunct Pluto in Leo. Jupiter,planet of expansion will be exactly squaring his PART OF FORTUNE as well as his Venus at 8 degrees of Aquarius.

Then I realised that the Moon, representing the people will be at 29 degrees of Leo a fateful degree and will be squaring Mitt’s natal Moon and Jupiter in Scorpio. This is an excellent aspect. Jupiter expands whatever it touches. Romney has the right look, the power, he will be favoured by the people. IN spite of his somewhat insensitive remarks, and this is shown by his natal Mars in Pisces beins afflicted by Chiron the wounded healer { he is not feeling very strong} right now and square his north node in Gemini meaning he needs to be seen as less ambivalent.. In the original old testament, G*d created man and woman, Adam and Lillith from the red earth as equals. Adam tried to dominate Lillith sexually and She, embodying Nature herself, raw instinct, untamable, bowing to no man, told Adam to shove it, that he couldn’t treat her that way as they were created as equals. Adam was arrogant and drunk on his own intellectual power, so Lillith said screw this and left Paradise. Long and short, G*d sent 3 angels to beg Lillith to return. She insisted on hanging out at the Red Sea { a metaphor for her menstrual period} and was then “demonized” by the later Patriarchs who rewrote the script, incorporating a bit of actual history in the retelling of the once original worship of Nature, the goddess, Mother earth, Pachamama they call her to this day in Peru, Demeter. The patriarchs, teh story of Abraham etc. vent all their infantile impotent rage at Mom by making Lillith a child killer, harpy, succubus etc. she is also turned into the snake in the Garden of Eden. But she is also, in a very complicated story one of  G*d’s Feminine sides, his left hand side. The Shekinah, is the right hand side to my understanding.

Deluded {Neptune rules the delusionsand the true sprituality} into thinking it was divine. Divinity, only speaks of love, as in Jesus’s original sayings, or the Buddha.

Sad to hear of British singer and former Monkees TV show star Davey Jones sudden death of a massive heart attack Feb. 29 2012 in Florida. If you were  a teenage girl in the mid 60′s THE MONKEES were a huge hit. A manufactured singing group modelled on The Beatles with zany, slapstick and a forum for showcasing their music, set in L.A. The Monkees was a pioneer as it was the first show to be built around the singing groups’ performances which are essentially promotional rock videos. Yahoo! Music named him the top teen idol of all-time in 2008. The Monkees sold 50 million records worldwide in one year 1967, out selling both the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

 

The show’s writers and the Monkees performances spawned a number of hit songs. I’m a Believer is the most famous, more recently  revived as a hit in the first Shrek movie. Davey Jones was a jockey and a child TV show actor on the famous British Coronation Street then a stage performer starring in the London production of Oliver at 11 years old then becoming a Broadway singing star. He was chosen as a surrogate Paul McCartney with his cute looks and fab British accent.

 

As you can see Davey Jones astrology chart. I have no exact birth time so it is set with a Zero  degrees Aries Ascendant with the Sun in the 10th house for any famous person. Davey was a Capricorn an earthy hard-working responsible sort with Venus the planet of artists conjunct his Sun. Venus conjuncts the Sun gives anyone incredible charm and charisma {Whitney Houston also had a Sun Venus conjunction} and David Jones had that. A Scorpio moon also adds to the charisma, he would have desired power and gotten it, may have been quite ruthless, and have a secret dark side that no one knew about.  With his South Node in Sagittarius conjunct the Galactic Center, North Node on the North Star at 29 degrees of Gemini, Davey was a Pole Star, seen as a guiding light. This place grants the ability to ooze charm galore, have  a good sense of humour, stay always boyishly young,and  light-hearted.

Mercury in Sagittarius a love of travel, foreigners,and he gained large success in the U.S.  Davey had a 3 planet stellium in Libra, Neptune Jupiter Chiron {and Juno an asteroid} Libra’s are charming creative, have good taste, go-betweens, need other people’s approval.

 

A difficult Mars Saturn retrograde conjunction in Cancer show a hard childhood, with difficult issues with his father and authority figures, being bullied,and a strong connection to his mother. I know nothing of the actual facts of the singer’s life. Despite the urge to be noticed and loved by others, Davey was a private person and needed a lot of emotional security. Pluto in Leo is the Baby Boomers generation signature. Jones had Uranus planet of sudden change in Gemini also Retrograde opposite his Natal Mercury in Sagittarius, indicating he had a unique, expansive, ahead of his time way of thinking and acting. Massive sudden heart attacks would be under the planet Uranus‘s domain. Leo is the Sign ruling the heart, and the Sun rules the sign of Leo so any transits by planets to David’s Sun would be a signifying factor. The planet Pluto, I know that some astronomers changed its nomenclature but to western Astrologers Pluto is still supremely important and the Lord of Death. Any planets transitting in Virgo and affecting his natal chart would also be pinpoints to his death as they signify health weaknesses.

On Feb 29 2012 Pluto had just recently passed over Davey Jones Sun. A Pluto transit to any one’s Sun is a death and rebirth experience on many levels.

The planet Mars moving Retrograde at 15 degrees of Virgo the sign of health is exactly square { a 90 degree stressful aspect} to David’s natal Uranus and exactly square to David’s natal Mercury at 16 degrees of Sagittarius. As well Uranus the planet of sudden and irrevocable change is square to Davey’s Natal Sun in Capricorn. Again the image of stress and sudden change, the Sun is the core of vitality. Venus planet of Love is at 23 degrees of Aries is opposite Davey’s natal Jupiter at 24 degrees of Libra. Indicating a big Jupiter/Venus rules the heart push/pull= heart attack.

There is an outpouring of love and fond remembrance from many former teeny-bopper fans who ate up the Monkees when they were kids.

I got to see the Monkees the one time they played Toronto on April 2, 1967 at Maple Leaf Gardens stadium. The teeny-boppers screamed more than for the Beatles. The show was fun, a huge success but lasting only 2 seasons. It has become a classic cult tv show.

 

The Monkees also made a very funky psychedelic movie called HEAD. Co-written by Jack Nicholson. It was a mis- mash of songs by many famous writers. The major planet Saturn, ruler of karma and ancient ruler of Aquarius before Uranus was discovered in 1781 and made modern ruler of Aquarius {as well as ruler of Capricorn} turns Retrograde at 29 degrees of Libra.

Lillith is the patriarchal take over explanation of the original matriarchal religion and how the new one god patriarchy relegated her out of the picture and blamed her and created Eve as man’s perfect playmate, object, thing dependent on man, blamed, shamed, temptress, ridiculed and feared for her innate sexuality.

The BIBLE is a hysterically funny book if you know a bit of psychology, the Old Testament is a Knee slapping belly laugh manual for total projection, turn everything upside down and blame women for all your troubles. Totally deny the feminine, the earth and disrespect her creatures, dominate everything and eventually end up in the current mess 5,000 something years later. 

I love Lillith. I am personally very familiar with her as SHE sits directly exactly opposite my natal Pluto in Aquarius in the 3^rd house.

So together this at the beginning of Taurus the most sensual earthy, “slow hand” of dynamic duo celebrity sexuality means a total consuming desire to be consumed in and consume the other. I don’t see this as the same tantric meltdown potential that Dark star Astrology does at all. I see it as a Taurus stubborn head 2 head of the feminine and the Masculine. This is the 1^st round this year. The Feminine may need to call in KALI and DURGA if a 3^rd world war begins in Iran between Israel the U.S. and Arab nations.

 Z. & L. have been within range of each other now from beginning of Jan. They will  again coincide exactly March 11 –20 from 8 – 10 degrees of Taurus so NOTE where these degrees are in your Natal chart right now for a heads up or down of where the titans clash for you personally. MArs,  known as the God ARES to the Romans. Mars  rules all the Masculine energies,  men  in general, especially generals, the word martial comes from the root word Mars of course, war, action, passion, libido, leaders, the life force itself and defences. Testosterone levels will plummet. Mars need not be a hero during this time period. MArs retro will definitely Curb Your Enthusiasm.

From Jan 23 – April 13 Mars will be Marching backwards

So for these 11 weeks or so, S_L_O_W down. Review your actions. Mars will be Retrograde in Virgo an Earth sign, work, service to to other, perfectionism, health, accounting and accountability, completion. So all of these elements and activities  will be reflected upon and rehashed.

So whatever sign you are including all MEN and WOMEN and VIRGO‘S ESPECIALLY review your Virgo tendencies to workaholism, your fanaticism to your diet, your yoga, gym or work out routine, your endless worrying and nitpicking about everything, stop being such a big control freak.

Mars takes on a backwards journey through earthy hard working Virgo. There was also a pre Retro and Post retro phase which runs from Nov. 18 2011- June 19, 2012, those are the degrees the planet moves back and forth between.

Mars rules leaders and indicates that heads will roll as has already been seen in the  changing of heads of governments and countries during these times such as in Greece, Italy, Libya, Egypt. Expect much more of the same.

While Mars is retrograde in Virgo, Mercury, Virgo’s ruling planet is important to watch.

Yes work will slow down. The testosterone levels will fall. We will reflect on our accounting, there will be big money reversals, big change ups.

The market may go haywire. The usual forward running motion is halted. Mars Retro is amiable, directionless.

Please note that since July 2005 the Progressed Mars in the U.S. Natal or Sibly chart turned retrograde at 19 degrees of Libra,and will remain so until 2085.

 While Mars is retrograde, Mercury its ruling planet moves through Capricorn into Aquarius and Pisces. Mercury opposes Mars on Feb 23.

MERCURY GOES RETROGRADE on March 12 @ 6 minutes 49 minutes of Aries. So we will get a double echo retro effect. A RE RE effect.

Mercury goes Direct on April 4 @ 23 degrees 51 minutes of Pisces. 

VENUS opposes Mars on FEB 2, which is Imbolc/ Ground Hog Day

Now there’s a movie about going backwards in time! Don’t ya love it! This is a perfect perfect symbol of what Mars retrograde teaches us. The protagonist is an angry, bitter, cynical man, he wakes up on Groundhog day to discover his life is repeating over and over again, No matter what happens to him he wakes up alive the next morning. Its a Bill Murray classic. 

Venus enters Mars territory on Feb 8  So this is an interesting twist of fate. While the masculine is laid back, Venus the Goddess is amping up her libido in Aries. Now Venus is also weak in the sign of Aries her opposite sign.

March 5 Venus enters her home territory of  TAURUS

MEDITATION on MARS Retrograde and WAR, Anger Revenge, Hatred, Fear

Mars as rulerof Aries represents the life force itself. Usually seen as the active, Masculine sperm or seed, the Light that illuminates, that fire which ignites life, the  principle that exists along side and partners with a totally Feminine Universe.

Mars is not necessarily destructive, that is a negative Masculine expression. More than the Mayan calendar in some ways a star ingressing into a new sign and element is a very big new show. A factual, real, verifiable, astronomically correct and approved one. OK OK this is Tropical astrology. It’s what most western astrologer use and it works.

URANUS  the revolutionary planet who is behind the Arab spring is also still at that ZERO degree point of ARIES and will be Direct on Dec 9th just in time for the eclipse. Direct at Uranus, sounds a bit….

Jupiter is at ZERO degrees of TAURUS also Retrograde. Turning DIRECT on Christmas Eve, which is  December 25 for the non Catholics and all you atheists. Jupiter rules the Sign of Sagittarius and Pisces traditionally.

Chiron just moved from ZERO degrees of PISCES on Dec 7th.

Saturn is opposite Jupiter during the eclipse, Saturn is at 26 degrees of Libra.

Mercury is at 4 degrees of Sagittarius having just crossed the Fixed Star Antares. Mercury the ruler of the eclipse is also squaring Uranus. Mercury is the earthy or real messenger, URANUS is considered to be the higher calling of Mercury, the Higher messenger, the one who takes you higher, the one who relates to quantum physics, future ideas, breakthroughs in consciousness.

So expect much more revolution,division, dissolving of boundaries both real and imagined.

ECLIPSES run in major cycles.

The last lunar eclipse closes to this degree was at 18 degrees 12 minutes of Sagittarius on December 9, 1992,the exact same degree as this one.
