I am a big HOME BIRTH supporter, having had both my children at home with midwives. It’s safer than in any hospital to have a home birth.
At least get educated. Ask questions. Once you have empowered yourself and your child at birth, the rest of the questioning of all authoritarian power outside of yourself stuff, from the vaccinations, drugs, schooling,clothing, food, behaviours,your home, and lifestyle all of it will change as a natural result.

Steve Jobs Apple CEO birth and death charts
Steve Jobs, Apple CEO, one of the most influential and powerful people in the world, a true artist, businessman, visionary, futurist dreamer and spiritual genius passed away October 5, 2011 after an 8 year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Steve was born out of wedlock and put up for adoption at 1 week old.
Always interested in tech he and Steve Wozniak co-founded Apple in 1976. Steve created the first personal computer and the mouse. Steve’s career saw some ups and downs in his career. Leaving Apple he created the NeXt computer, not a commercial success, but huge leaps and bounds in technological innovation. Jobs started PIXAr the worlds first computer animation company. 20 academy awards and hugely successful movies. Steve got Apple to buy Pixar and he was back where he started,long story short in 2006 he became the biggest shareholder of Disney.
Of course we all know about the iPod, iPhone, iPad and how Apple’s brand is known worldwide.
In mid 2004 steve was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a rare form and in July 2004 has surgery to remove the tumour in hopes of stopping it.
By the way the 6th house {Virgo, is always associated with underlying weak health issues} Steve’s sun is in the 6th and the sign of Cancer rules the pancreas which was cancerous. Steve was also known for being very private abouthis family, that is a typical Cancerian trait. Steve had Jupiter conjunct Uranus in Cancer this means expansion of any Cancerian ruled body issues. Jupiter also rules the liver. In April 2009 he had a liver transplant. He recently took leave in Aug to attend to his health and finally succumbed Oct 5, 2011.
Those are some basic facts lets look at steve’s Astrology chart. This is a very highly rated birth time from his birth certificate.
Steve was a PISCES, an emotional, creative, spiritual, chameleon like creative genius visionary. The 4th house represents your mother, your roots, your childhood. The 10th house is worldly success. I believe that amongst other things Steve was unconsciously driven to worldly success {10th house} because he came into this world already powerful, South Node, already a scion even though born to unwed parents and then adopted as an infant which by the way is Always,always the tip off and necessary ingredient for the classic HERO myth.
Sounds corny and Freudian I know but this motif means that Steve was driven to worldly success because he was unconsciously seeking nurturing, acceptance, roots,his mom through his business = North Node in Capricorn in the 4th house. ALso that his world success would be through the feminine,creating, labouring with and birthing his wildly successful business.
Steve had CHIRON in Aquarius sign of technological geniuses, free spirits, hippies, communications genius, liberators, freedom seekers and revolutionaries, in the 5th house opposite Uranus squaring Neptune and Mars. This means he was the wounded healer himself through his genius invented creatively, an act of giving love, leadership, child likeness, will power, strength, courage, daring all 5th house issues fueled { the squares} by Mars in Aries, see above and Uranus in the 10th. After a heroic battle that only someone with Steve’s willpower would have survived as long as he did. He finally died As Pluto had crossed his North Node, Uranus was squaring that Node. Neptune was opposite his Pluto, Chiron was approaching his Sun.
Saturn known as the Grim Reaper,Father Time at 19 degrees of Libra was squaring his Natal Venus and squaring his Jupiter at 20 degrees of Cancer. The NOrth Node had just squared his Ascendent.
Steve Jobs left an incredible technological legacy to the world which may take many years to ever duplicate.
I intuite that his vision, his spirituality and creativity, his essence exists in every Apple computer, exists in every iPod, iPhone, iPad and all the other as yet unrealized ideas Steve left to Apple for posterity.
I believe we will see iCars, iCommunities,iStyle, iCommmerce. He was a great man and the world is a much better place because of him. My condolences to his wife and children and all who knew and loved him.
Steve became a Buddhist. I know that he has already reached Enlightenment, someone who gave so much of himself to help improve the world is what’s known as a Bodhistava. Steve wasn’t perfect in his human incarnation but like ‘em or not computers have transformed peoples lives enabling almost anyone to have access to the world in ways never dreamed of before. Steve Jobs contributed greatly to the ability of people to be free.

We’re now in the middle of the nine nights of the Divine mother Festival of 2011.
Sounds so heavenly to me. 9 is completion. We all come from the Divine Mother as humans, that is our commonality. If you value yourself, your Life, your humaness,then you have to be grateful to the Goddess the Divine Mother of All.
To many Westerners these kinds of festivals seem pretty crazy, and that includes people in the “yoga” community.

I was introduced to Durga by my dear friend Edda West an herbalist, La Leche League leader, speaker and activist, wise woman, who created and runs VRAN an amazing vaccine risk awareness site out of the Slocan Valley in British Columbia http://www.vaccinationnews.com/edda-west
Edda of the West introduced me to Durga in the 90′s. She was a follower of Guru Muktananda many years ago and learned to sing the Hindu Sanskrit chants. I remember she told me that she knew intuitively that Muktananda’s interpreter GuruMayi would be his successor.
I loved the sound of the Sanskrit chants and the sacred language has always felt familiar and easy to memorize. I live one block from Little India Town in downtown East Toronto. I myself haven’t visited India yet, but my husband Napoleon Brousseau travelled there, spending about a year and a half on two visits. He made a beautiful book of miniature paintings on his travels.
Our house is full of Hindu weavings and images. I love to sing the mantras, prayers chants.
Durga is a fierce protectress and a strong role model. When the world was being destroyed by demons Mata or Mother Durga was called on to stop it all as no one of th emany other Gods had the power.
She rides her beautiful Tiger. In India they have always worshipped the Female Deities. We need Her strength now, Her wisdom Her power to give birth and to destroy. The Indian pantheon is very balanced and whole. They do not fear the darkness or death. They understand the obvious balance of Nature. She gives and She takes away. We need to reconnect to that balance again.
Hindu’s worship the fearsome Goddess Black Kali who destroys ego. The reverence of the death-bringing aspect is very powerful.

In a mash of Eastern and Western Astrology I would see Pluto in Capricorn, Vedic astrology traditionally does not acknowledge the newer planets. Capricorn besides being thought of as the Big Business Sign is the Cardinal Earth sign, related in the Kabbalah to Binah, the Empress # 3 in the Tarot.
Capricorn is an Earth sign and I’d see PLUTO in Capricorn as an aspect of Kali, the Death Goddess to capitalism, corporate structures the patriarchal traditions.
